Thoughts on the greatest tv show of the 2010s? Season 2 was a definite pleb-filter because Season 3 is one of the best seasons of television in the past 10 years and it doesn't have half the audience it did in its normie-core first season.
Thoughts on the greatest tv show of the 2010s...
Agreed
thats because it turned into absolute nonsense middle of season 2 and has only gotten worse
Go back to Breaking Bad.
like op said, pleb filter
100% s2 is gud shit
anyone else have a hard time following season 2?
Been meaning to catch up with it.
It lost me a little bit in the middle but I admit I probably wasn't giving it my full attention.
only show taking real risks with cinematography too
dude let's frame our close-ups with lots of negative space lmao
name another show that's actually taking risks with their cinematography right now ?
oh you can't
also, that type of shot is not a closeup you absolute mong
Season 3 is pure kino
Why does whiterose want to hit the reset button?
>EXECUTIVE RUNNING LOONIX?!?!?!
yeah it is. and how is using the same shot repeatedly a risk? I've seen the same shot used much more effectively years earlier in boardwalk empire.
try hannibal. much better cinematography without the gimmick shots.
Yeah, I think season 2 is deliberately difficult to follow. Not out of incompetence, but because they want the audience to feel as in the dark as the characters are.
Things come together a lot more during season 3 as everyone starts to get on the same page.
all of it is unwatchable garbage television you ought to be ashamed
Most kino cinematography of the last couple years no doubt
how would you know?
Whiterose is a fucking 10/10 antagonist.
I like when Elliot talks to me. It makes me feel included and his friend.
I'm sad, they have killed off pretty much all of my favorite characters.
Hannibal cinematography was pretentious and overstylized.
The sound track was a fucking abortion, it sounded like an entire kitchen cupboard was constantly being thrown down stairs.
How? All he did was blow up some buildings.
Are you an overweight Muslim tech guy?
There hasn't been a single tv show that has attempted to do what they (successfully) did in season 3 episode 5.
Are you retarded?
Whiterose has manipulated every event to occur how it has since the start of season 2. They kept Eliot and Mr Robot distracted. They've got control of the FBI who have control of Dom. They tied up loose ends with FSociety. They've got Angela fucked in the head. They annexed the fucking Congo.
If the show doesn't end with Whiterose succeeding at whatever the fuck her plan is this show is bullshit.
>S3E5
No, but they were both cute. Now all we have beyond Elliot/Mr Robot are some roasties and a weird gay dude.
What are you talking about?
The Knick, The Young Pope, Fargo, The Leftovers, Mad Men, TP: The Return are all better than Mr.Robot. The show has its moments but that's it. Also, esmail is not a good writer.
Is that the one take episode? I haven't seen it so I wouldn't know if it was well executed but I'm pretty sure x-files did something similar like 2 decades go
Post yfw
>you noticed E5 is a continous shot
bring back those Birdman memories
>"The greatest tv show of the 2010s"
>posts Mr.Robot instead
wut
I love this show so much. It's pretty much what I look forward to the most each week.
Me too, user. Gives me the warm fuzzies.
Hannibal was too much style over substance by its end. It's been a while since I've seen it but I remember a lot of unnecessary slow motion shots in season 3 which seemed a bit gimmicky to me.
Psuedo intellectual bullshit for uneducated morons that relies on parlor tricks to remain interesting and has characters that no one should care about any longer.
It makes me sad that people like you exist.
How was Sam Esmail allowed to write and direct his own tv show, despite having almost no experience?
Tyrell is great. So glad Jonathan Brandis finally got work.
