Is Gordon Ramsay actually a good chef or is he just a tv personality? He likes to pretend he knows his shit, but what is he like off-camera?
Is Gordon Ramsay actually a good chef or is he just a tv personality? He likes to pretend he knows his shit...
look at ramsay boiling point
I saw Gordon Ramsay at a grocery store in Glasgow the other day. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for recipes or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen lamb sauce packets in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the packets and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
what about it?
His home cooking videos are really good, informative and he comes across as a really nice guy. He definitely knows what hes doing.
Fake and gay
He was a world class chef for years before ever having a TV show.
he very polite off camera, its all kayfabe.
>is a world class chef even a good chef?
This is your brain on adolescence
no shit newfag
Lurk more, newfag.
...
>its all kayfabe.
It's not even that. It's just editing it to highlight what little negging he does and the constant they add to the US shows.
pan nice and hot
I work in a restaurant in LA as a chef and have cooked for gordon ramsey more times than i can count over the past 2 years. First few times were pretty nerve racking, but after that ive seen his name and definitely sent out sub par food and never heard shit from him. He's a really nice guy in person, always comes into the kitchen to shake our hands
He's a thirty star Michelin chef.
He's invented over 100 dishes, a dozen TV shows, and more than 50 new words in American and proper English.
off-camera he has a young and handsome son who is friends with a young and handsome son of a handsome athlete
You got trolled! Stupid idiots.
>I-I was only pretending to be retarded!
Do you do coke
yes
whats so fun about cooking on coke? Is if just the frantic energy of a busy kitchen?
Cooking on coke is fucking shitty. Its more of a wind down after a hard service kind of deal.
It's his first show he did in the 90s set in his own restaurant in London
It's great because he calls his staff faggots and spics and since it was the 90s he could get away with it, if you thought he was angry in KN you haven't seen anything
Every headchef I've ever worked for has been a hard-ass in the kitchen but when we're all out for drinks or parties or whatever most of them kind of put the foot off the gas and chill out.
I say most, and still, I've seen people quit because of how the treat people in the kitchen
Gordon Ramsay has been compensating his whole career after discovering Marco Pierre White has a massive cock and is a better chef, meanwhile Ramsay is a prawn dicked faggot.
Businessman, 'tv personality' and having common sense, something that, I guess, is hard to find nowadays, have helped him become what he is- wildly successful in his career, as well as in personal life.
...
So... is he good?
Ayy yo, where da bbq sauce at?
His cooking videos are really useful and great. I followed his turkey one and it was the best i did
I read that as an Italian guy from Brooklyn not a black dude
Mama mia, where's-a that-a pizza-a salsa?
"Stop showing on TV"
Yeah I'm a teacher and I've used his videos multiple times as a great example of writing and filming instructions.
>COME HERE YOU, HEY SPIC
What did he mean by this?
He meant for the spic to approach him
They kinda have to be. Shit wouldn't get done otherwise.
>not a good chef
>16 michelin stars
pick one and only one
I'd rather have 16 michelin stars desu. I don't see why someone would choose not being a good chef. Shitty dilemma.
BUTTER
IN
HEAD
NICE AND HOT
Not when half the crew is jacked up on cocaine including the head chef himself.
>prawn dicked
But prawns are huge, that's their defining characteristic.
>3 michelin tar chef
yeah he's good
But which season of hells kitchen is kino?
He knows his shit about running a restorant
who
Gordon duh
please do not torment me
Cute.
How did you learn/train to be a chef? I'm working on my professional art career but I think it'd be good for me to have a trade/profession in the meantime.
coke as a wind down?
i know fuck all about drugs but isnt't coke generally used to perk you up?
