Why do bugmen despise them?
Normalfags have all embraced the latest scientific insight into Maniraptoran reconstruction, yet omega males still desperately cling to outdated views of these magnificent animals?
Are they overcompensating for their lack of masculinity because in their minds scales = edgy?

A FUCKING TURKEY
>the stegosaurus and brontosaurus were actually birds
yea I don't buy that shit
>inb4 not Sup Forums related
This is extremely Sup Forums related because the film industry caters to nostalgic manchildren by making several decades old stale reconstructions of Maniraptorans, instead of the snazzy latest intelligent avian like predators Maniraptorans were that normalfags lap up and love
Note I said Maniraptorans you low test freak
because birds are boring
Conservative minds are resistant to change, due to being stupid and/or old
because most people that watch film think the world is only 10,000 years old and every single dinosaur existed at the same time side by side with modern humans
i love the bird thing user
If the film industry catered to normalfags instead of soyboys living in the past, the American box office wouldn't be in a crisis
t. low test freak overcompensating for his nonexistant masculinity
Birds are incredible creatures that have flourished on this planet
You can't tell me the mighty eagle or the tiny hummingbird aren't fascinating
How come most nostalgic bugmen are middle aged liberals?
Most people don't, not even in your country America
This
Feathered raptors are AESTHETIC
Which movie is gonna be first to feature a well-rendered dromaeosaurid? The Jewrassic World franchise is obviously out of the question.
>be a kid
>hey kid, there used to be giant dragon like creatures of all sizes and shapes millions of years ago
>wow cool!
>be a kid
>hey there used to be giant turkeys walking around
>thanks a lot cunt
they're big birds 4 you
the pixar flop good dinosaur had feathered raptors
>muh childhood when I wasn't a complete failure
Maniraptors weren't dinosaurs.
They were flightless birds.
If they never flew, why do they have flight feathers? They did fly and became flightless.
TRUE dinosaurs never flew
t. someone who has never been within 20 feet of a wild turkey
Yeah but they were stylised into walking cartoons so they don't count. Same applies to the Ice Age 3 raptors.
Will poor Deinonychus ever get over it's identity crisis?
Yea dinosaurs didn't exist to be cool for you.
Actually those were the least related to birds. Pretty much the only types of dinosaurs that weren't birds.
>muh feathered parasaurolophus
Children now are just as fascinated with dinosaurs than in previous ages
You obviously don't have younger siblings
In fact even I grew up with feathered Maniraptorans
You must as old as fuck
What you're doing is the equivalent to digging up the skeleton of a cat and assuming it looked like a hairless sphinx cat.
>some theropods had primitive feathers
>dinosaurs are birbs xD
GOBBLE GOBBLE MOTHERFUCKERS
>dinosaurs are birbs
other way around
It's not just the feathers, but I shouldn't expect much from brainlets.
>hey kid, there used to be giant dragon like creatures of all sizes and shapes millions of years ago
That is still true though, only now these shapes are even more varied with some of them being coated in fluff, feathers and naked skin instead of only scales.
That sounds pretty cool though.
Maniraptors actually have complex pennaceous feathers. The same as modern birds.
Because they are birds.
No one said Parasaurolophus had feathers
Scientists have discovered that Maniraptorans, Kulindadromeus, and basal Tyrannosauroids had feathers
Psittacosaurus and possibly Ceratopsians had spiny structures
It would be awesome if in Jurassic World 2 a scientist works out how to make raptors without frog DNA
Weak! No wonder mammals won.
I don't get why they'd use frog DNA and not the closest living relative like with mammoths and elephants
>I don't get why they'd use frog DNA and not the closest living relative like with mammoths and elephants
Why didn't you pick birds or even lizards you fuckhead? Are you serious?
WE WUZ BATS TOO
I was pointing out that they should use birds or lizards. Mammoths and Elephants was a comparison
FEATHERED DINOSAURS LOOK FUCKING STUPID! UNTIL THERE'S UNDENIABLE PROOF THAT ALL PREDATOR DINOSAURS HAD FEATHERS YOU CAN FUCK RIGHT OFF UNDER YOUR BASEMENT BED, user!
The authors of book and writers of movie weren't scientists nor had any scientific insight
>based Triceratops still safe from featherfaggotry
>recent findings of T-rex not having feathers
the absolute state of featherfags
Lets see that data boy
they can be menacing if you look past shitty artist renderings
This is why _____ won
Don't InGen already have the means to clone actual dinosaurs in JW though? I know it was a plot point in JP that they had to fill gaps to fill out the genomes, but I got the impression from the last movie that they're intentionally made the "dinos" the way they are to please the audience's expectations. I could be wrong though, I've only watched JW one time and I couldn't bother giving it a rematch.
>>based Triceratops still safe from featherfaggotry
Not entirely.
It may have had spines or quills as integument
youtube.com
artist renderings truly are the bane of featherfags. irl version of giant birds are scary as fuck.
vid related, this fucking thing can jump 6 feet into the air. if that's not a velociraptor i dont know what is.
Scale impressions from both Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus have been found.
JW is a fucking mess but I think they do say that.
In the original JP book they say that they could have made the dinosaurs into more of what people expected (giant slow moving lizards) but Hammond was spergy and wanted them more authentic
Absolutely livid.
Doesn't rule out spines or crests
You do know birds have scales right?
>feathers can’t look cool or terrifyi-
>let's add "radical feathers" but no lips to make it scarier and more badass
T-rex has been proven to have lips, this is why featherfag artist are the worst. they omit facts just as well as scalefags
>bugmen
>low test
>nonexistent masculinity
dude you need to take a break from this website, maybe the internet in general, if you are incorporating these pol buzzwords into posts about dinosaurs. It's forced and obvious you just learned about these buzzwords.
Is this a dinosaur or a bird?
Four out of five Americans get this wrong!
All I see is proof that every square inch wasn’t coated in feathers. That’s maybe .5% or the dinosaurs total surface area I see. Heavily from areas not likely to have feathers anyway. Doesn’t prove anything.
the fuck
A rare variant of bugbear.
Not at all, perhaps they had tough wattles on their heads like some vultures do.
Birds don't have scales all over the body, and they NEVER have scales underneath their feathers (since feathers essentially are modified scales).
>feathers of the gaps
I hope I don't need to explain why this is a lousy argument.
Reptiles became the cool ancestors.
Awesome, I've only seen illustration of these before.
only bird with finger remnants right? south america?
Jurassic World is excused by being a sequel and this disparity is actually explained by the plot anyway if you were paying attention.
Legendary Godzilla isn't a dinosaur. Kong: Skull Island didn't have any dinosaurs. Transformers Age of Extinction had a feathered dinosaur. I can't think of any other mainstream live action movie from the last 5 years with dinosaurs.
Are you complaining about direct to video movies? One of them even had a T-rex with bright pink feathers.
OP is a faggot who's obsessed with other men
Is the Carnotaurus the soydino?
Dinosaur plumage would look nothing like that as that's after millions of years of evolution and way more complex
>spreading disinformation again
Maniraptors literally had flight feathers.
is that tyranosaurs? oh i guess not go FUCK YOURSELF KID IM GONNA FUCKING FIND YOU AND FUCKING KILL YOU
>all proof of feathered dinosaurs comes from China
Huh.
Now if that don't get you thinking, nothing will
More like the ayyydino.
>people unanimously agree theropods were feathered and the direct ancestors of bird and they still live on in birds and never really went extinct
>b-b-but what about sauropods
>Enjoy your movie, sir
>Y-you too
Fun fact, sauropods are more closely related to birds than triceratops, iguanadon, and stegosaurus
>muh lips
No lips, faggot
livescience.com
Also fun fact, Tyrannosaurus lived closer to us the to Stegosaurus.
*trumpets in your face*
...
He also went there alone so he has to sit in the Beta-Rex section.
dinosaurs are cool as fuck
why is there only one good live action dino movie. I guess I just want a Planet Earth style movie with todays effects
i could probably beat the shit out of that faggot dinosaur lmao
>drops his penis inspection waiver
Um, user
They're just now getting around to fossils discovered 28 years ago?
This is a coolass dino. Imagine if it was these guys that survived the asteroid instead of birds.
Is there any dinosaur that has been JUSTed as hard as the Spinosaurus?
>wake up to these things crawling all of your window trying to get at the bugs behind the mosquito screen
Eh, I just think reptiles look cooler. Grew up with that image. It's hard to shake it. Still, dinos were incredibly bird-like and mostly feathered.
Based Hammond. Perhaps in a later movie they could tie in another themepark from a competing company, one with authentic dinosaurs instead of monsters made to appeal to nostalgic boomers. It could just be a cameo for the sake of world building, still would be cool.
They're doing a flashback scene in the next JW to show the baby raptors, so maybe they'll have a Phase 1 with a 100% accurate turkey sized feathered velociraptor and they'll just go "Nah, fuck that, let's go back to Hammond's version"
didn't say it would, at all. thanks captain autism. you can go dry hump your anime pillow now
He now looks more well-adapted for his semiaquatic lifestyle, good for him.
I doubt that those forearms were used for walking though.
Not all dinosaurs had feathers. It just happens that a bunch of iconic dinosaurs had feathers, which contrasts with the "dragon" cultural perception of dinosaurs.
What a terrible picture.
Very, very inaccurate.
>which contrasts with the "dragon" cultural perception of dinosaurs.
Which is dumb because dragons have had all kinds of appearances, including some with feathers
>t. Carnotaurus afraid of people making fun of his short face and weak jaw
I'm surprised you can even reach the keyboard with those vestigial forelimbs
Thiccest thighs ever tho.
They still look better without Feathers even if science disproves the featherless theory, and you're a pleb or 12 for disagreeing.
I love you guys
Sea Sponge Larva Evolved Into Fish
Fish evolved into Amphibians
Amphibians Evolved Into Reptiles
Reptiles branched off into two Directions
Reptiles that became Mammal-Like Reptiles
Reptiles that became Bird-like reptiles (dinos)
Mammal-like reptiles became Mammals
Dinos became birds
Confused? Sorry but thats just what the current evidence says. I didnt do THIS.
Bugmen?
its a dwarf character from warhammer fantasy
