You may remember me from a few months ago, I'm Working on a project restoring all the music deleted from Jurassic Park. About 40% of the music was removed before the final release
Obviously the tracks were pulled for a reason, but now you can hear the movie as it was originally scored with 100% John Williams tracks restored. It seems like they wanted to give the audience a break from John Williams's fanfares. I now have a newly encoded video of the film with all the original music back in place. The video isnt perfect, there are scenes where there was new music placed in and it was difficult to place over the old music without there being overlap. Would it be easier to upload to Mediafire or should I just make a torrent of it?
Its 6gb but my computer runs all night anyways so I'll be seeding for a while

I've been a soundtrack fan since I was younger, and with companies like La La Land Records releasing expanded scores, its been great. They just released one for Titanic on Tuesday, which was incredible considering how little of the films music was on the orginal release.
Movies include: Titanic, Speed, Thunderball, and Jurassic Park so far

Holy shit user this is awesome.

Amazing work user. But please, for archival reasonings post this on another website like Original Trilogy. They accept film restoration threads from other franchises.
Ian Sanders
Honestly, thanks for doing this. Some of those scenes were better in the Original, like in the kitchen scene no sound needed for scene
Brody Adams
Thats not a bad idea. I'm just happy to share with you guys

Thanks OP. It's appreciated. Sup Forums can be alright some times.

Any particular reason why you think they cut so much music? Other than giving the viewer a break?
Blake Walker
I havent been able to confirm, but some user said here once that JW will literally score the whole film, and then leave it up to the director to decide what to use. Sounds possible, but I dont know any other William's scored films missing this much music (that isnt a deleted or edited scene) 90% of these tracks are just drag and drop, no timing changes needed
Tyler Harris
Neat, thanks

You're a gentleman and a scholar. I liked the rising intensity of the raptors in the kitchen score.
