How many more mediocre romance flicks will Rooney Mara and Casey Afflec star in?

How many more mediocre romance flicks will Rooney Mara and Casey Afflec star in?

I thought this would be ok, but it was so dull.

Yea, that movie sucked. I feel like if they cut it down to like a 15 minute short, it would have been pretty solid.

Plebs

Yep. The shots lingered for no effect. Why show them rubbing their noses together for 5 mins, or Rooney Mara taking some chest out to the trash for 5 mins? REALLY needed to be edited down and have some substance added.

>I feel like if they cut it down to like a 15 minute short, it would have been pretty solid.
>t. mumkey

Such a good pleb filter

not an argument.

But muh pie scene

You mean you don't like watching Rooney eat pie in silence for 20 minutes?

>Them black thing around her nose
DROPPED! Shame to because I'm a really cool guy.

Long take in the bed was supposed to create this intimate feel so when in the next scene Affleck dies you wouldn't feel like you haven't grasp their relationship in any way. The pie scene is a very good representation of grief. It's quiet, her eating a pie gets more and more intense as she gets more upset and you can see the tears dropping from her nose. it's ver real. The rest of it is to create the sense of meaningless, loss and loneliness after losing someone you love. It also presents very well the human need to leave the legacy - history of the house. Sometimes movies are about experience and certain feel not just the quick rushing to the next fucking plot point.

Why do people get all worked up about that scene anyway? I probably wouldn't even remember that part if everyone did not bring it up

Because it dragged on forever and was tedious to sit through.

I dunno its hard to feel anything for these boring blank slates of characters

That idiot at the party talking was waaaaaaay worse

See? It was easier to just call you a pleb.

>Long take in the bed was supposed to create this intimate feel so when in the next scene Affleck dies you wouldn't feel like you haven't grasp their relationship in any way.
Well that didn't work, did it? All I know is that he likes touching her. What kind of person is he? Kind, or cruel? Strong or weak? I know nothing about him as a person. Yeah I get that he's supposed to be kind of a blank slate, and is the representation of loss and all that, but I stand by my point. There was no intimate feeling there. The scene did not work, and when he died I didn't care for him.

>The pie scene is a very good representation of grief. It's quiet, her eating a pie gets more and more intense as she gets more upset and you can see the tears dropping from her nose. it's ver real.
Ok, it's real, but does it deserve to be on the screen? You can do the same thing in much better way. It felt flat, I was honestly giggling to myself when that scene was on. It felt like a time waste. A single chapter of Anna Karenina (2-3 pages) carried more emotional weight than this whole 90 minute movie.

>It also presents very well the human need to leave the legacy
Atheists everyone. Guess fucking what, you will be forgotten. Only the word of God is eternal in this world.

Finisterrae was better.

>Well that didn't work, did it? All I know is that he likes touching her. What kind of person is he?
It doesn't fucking matter in the context of a scene and a movie. It's only about the strong emotion between them. Jesus fucking christ
>Ok, it's real, but does it deserve to be on the screen?
Yes
> Guess fucking what, you will be forgotten. Only the word of God is eternal in this world.
That's propably why you didn't understand the movie and it would explain your plebian taste. Go watch God's not Dead or some other shit like that.

Ok, seems like you need some tips since you are evidently very dumb. When you make a point you need to back it up with evidence. I get that you are uneducated, and probably work in McDonald's but can you at least try?

>pleb
>pleb taste!
Not an argument sweetie.

I guess I hit the soft spot. I already explained to you everything. I know people like you need to be spoon-feed with everything but I've done what I could.

>I guess I hit the soft spot
umm yeah... don't think so sweetie

>I already explained to you everything
you said that I'm a pleb and made no arguments

>I know people like you need to be spoon-feed with everything but I've done what I could.
Calling me a pleb is all you can muster?
