Because everyone would just go straight to the organic/vegan section.
They have an item limit and they could come up with some rule like you have to put all the veg in one of those cleat plastic bags that are a bitch to open.
I forget the premise. But I do remember that I always tuned into see it.
Because inflation. They don't want to remind people how much groceries actually cost these days.
PAPERTOWELS!
Is this like that one episode of Married With Children?
Garden hose's, Turkeys n Bagels

Because companies make more money with fast food and eating home cooked meals is healthier.
Was it pressure that cause most contestants to fail utterly at the trivia section of the show?
I'd go straight for the pharmaceuticals , kick all their asses when Im putting tiny ass bottles at 20 dollars a pop and still have room for big ass turkeys
THINK OF ALL THE FUN YOU COULD HAVE ON SUPERMARKET SWEEP
>Not one person of color in that picture

Actually a good concept, particularly the bonus round where they try to find one specific item in each aisle scavenger hunt style. But man, Guy is annoying.
>YFW IT WAS ALREADY A REBOOT OF A SHOW FROM 1965
WHAT THE HECK
Most people know the names of products and what they are, but not necessarily trivia about them.
Fuck... i wish there were some way to download the episodes.
>Expensive cuts of steak
>Whole turkeys and hams
>Giant cans of beans
>Giant wedges of cheese
>Running ahead to grab a big inflatable or cardboard cutout for a bonus
>Grind a bag of coffee and grab giant cans of coffee
>Cookware, pots especially
>Big packs of diapers and baby formula
>Aspirin
It was surprising how many people forgot to grab Tylenol and such. Sure, the meats and giant cans of stuff were expensive, but they ate up so much cart space. The medicine was a fraction of the size and usually made the difference.
And, honestly, doing the bonus games tended to be a waste of time. Spend twenty seconds grinding coffee for $100, or grab ten extra packs of meat in half the time (OR go search for one of the bonus statues.)
>hank and peggy
>LITERALLY NAMED HANK AND PEGGY 1:38
