Black Mirror Season 4

Excited for the new season? Comes out in less than a week.

Also discuss your favorite episodes of the previous seasons.

I like the one where technology was bad.

Kids, Kenny

what about the one where it turns out the people were bad

Excited for inside no.9
fuck black mirror it's getting shittier and shittier
more misses than hits
inside no.9 is getting better by season can't wait for the 4th one

I wonder how many interracial relationships ol’ Charlie will shoehorn into this one.

5.

Also, all the episodes will be released at once?

Post Konnie.

...

Blue Peter Konnie is best Konnie.

Charlie married a fit Indian bird and now all white women need BBC in his show.

>Sup Forums tells me the show is cuck propaganda
>there is literally one single episode that has anything cuck related

three actually. 15 million credits, the entire history of you and white chrismas

>wife tells me she's a virgin
>literally only fucked one guy before me

Waldo moment too.

>waldo moment
explain

Why do normies get the completely wrong message about shut up and dance? Even though he is a pedo he is still an innocent kid with a mental illness.
Everyone I ask just thinks
>woah what a mind fuck I didn't see that coming
>lol he deserved it

The lesbian 80s heaven one, the video game one, and the Uber ranking one also had black on white.

>Waldo moment
>goes from local election gimmick to world domination and for some reason China???

Is it true that there's going to be a San Junipero part 2?

They been indoctrinated by the establishment. Age of consent laws are absolutely draconian. However, the kid wasn't innocent, he robbed a bank and killed a man on camera. That said the twist was mostly comedic, it was schadenfreude really

They need to a blade runner episode. Different to the one with Hayley atwell

Yes. Everytime a new series gets a new season on Netflix all the episodes are released at once. I'm sick of seeing this question every thread.

there was no cuckolding in those episodes.
it was a shout-out to the original blade runner and to show that's waldo's influence is international/discreet reference to globalist government.

I thought it was more of a "apathy and disinterest leads to totalitarianism" but in a creative, modern way

Reminder that he did nothing wrong.

My man. Can't wait for Inside No. 9, it's going to be amazing, like you said, it's only getting better and better each series.

Best episode for me was the Christmas special. That guy being locked in the simulation for like a million years might just be the most horrifying fate of any character in fiction ever.

As for S4, I'm looking forward to it, but I hope they keep the American stuff out of it a bit more. The original series were purely British, but when Netflix bought it, we were forced to watch several episodes set in America or with an American cast. It really bothered me how we got from UK-set stories and characters to a random fat game nerd trying out VR, or that superficial bitch who was a slave to the 5-points structure.

>Soyboy: The TV Show

No.

The only thing Brooker got right was Dead Set. Then his wife gave birth to his kid and he admitted in his fucking guardian article that he had changed and was less cynical, and it was downhill from there.

Into le trash.

i watched and enjoyed the first season but havent really been in a mood to be bummed out and cynical since then, so not really. maybe im just a pussy but the show is so overwhelmingly bleak and depressing. i need some highs and lows, not just lows.

they are all about cucking

>guy fucks a pig instead of his wife
>boyfriend discovers through "brain scanning" his girlfriend that she was cheating
>nigger in a dystopian future gives a random girl which he just met a ticket that cost a fuckton of money so she can become a singer, ends up becoming a pornstar and the guy has to watch her fuck other men without him being able to stop him
>christmas episode

black lady cucked her husband in heaven by choosing to fugg her gf in a computer forever

Is this show redpill-comfy?

Yeah, you have to be in the mood or in a good mind state to watch Black Mirror without getting completely depressed.
I find that it's a really good and clever series but it's really dark and that's the point of it. But it's not something to watch when you're feeling bad.

Can't wait for black musuem friends :^)

It's gonna be my birthday present.
Always loved Brooker, I'm glad it get americanised too cos let's face it, season 1 had terrible directing.

Why black museum specifically?

Pretty much.

So when San Junipero becomes real, what year are you guys gonna live in?

1998 for me.

Oh no, you'd be triggered by the lesbianism and black-white relationships. Good show though.

>Always loved Brooker, I'm glad it get americanised too cos let's face it, season 1 had terrible directing.
At least we got a stellar cast like Rory Kinnear, Jodie Whittaker, Hayley Atwell, Domhnall Gleeson, Michael Smiley, Rafe Spall etc.
Since Netflix it's been a cast of literally who actors that, apart from Jerome Flynn, nobody has ever heard about. Black Mirror used to attract A or B list celebrity actors, but now they're pushing Z-list American cunts into every episode because Netflix thinks the series would fail if there weren't any Americans in it

It's multiple stories in one 1hr 30min episode. Kinda like black Christmas, it's about a crime museum in the future, the stories are the backstories of exhibits in the museum.

It's an hour and a half? Damn, that's the longest episode yet

Wait, is it really 90 mins? That's great to hear because I loved what they did with the Christmas one. Gives the story a lot more room to breathe. Roll on the 29th, I'm hyped.

You guys are really focused on the whole cuck thing.

it's just a good TV show that shows some dark shit. Relationships are a part of that dark shit sometimes.

>glad it got americanized

I also appreciate the violent tonal shifting and the introduction of milquetoast episodes with artificial happy endings that are thematically abberant from the rest of the series in every way.

I hope we have even more asinine relationship dramas premised on pandering to the most fashionable social causes of our day.

There are literal standards requirements at work which affect virtually all american produced shows similar in effect to the BBC's diversity quota, with an additional moralizing limitation on depictions of a 'disturbing nature'.

Shame. At least we got that teenage pedo and the killer robot bees episodes set in the UK. I just hope S4 keeps it 50/50, I don't want 100% US Black Mirror

Too bad hated in the nation was shit. Good idea with awful execution. The google made video about killer quadcopters was a better portrayal of the idea.

>inside no.9
>30 minute episodes

nope

I loved Hated in the Nation, one of my favourite episodes. Mostly because the theme and setting was a police procedural/murder mystery case which I fucking love. What's so bad about it according to you?

>Paedo
>Innocent

That's why I didn't like it. It felt like an episode of NCIS. Didn't help that the actors were bad.

I dropped this series on the second episode of the first season. That shit was pure garbage. I've never watched anything worse in my life. Couldn't watch more than 5 minutes.

I really liked the setting of that episode, but it really could've been without the interracial lesbian shit. If they do make a continuation, the it had better be about other characters.

>there was no cuckolding in those episodes.
But the crippled protagonist had sex with the Negress while being engaged to Greg.

>random fat game nerd trying out VR
>Kurt Russell's chad son is a fat nerd

I disagree.

Brooker openly stated he would not do a sequel to San Junipero of any kind. He said he was delighted by the positive response, but said that revisiting earlier episodes and stories is not what Black Mirror is about. I for one I agree with him. Once you start rehashing because of fans, you stop coming up with original ideas. Best to just keep moving forward as normal and never do a sequel or prequel to any stories.

I don't see how it could hurt to make a completely different story in the same universe, as long as you can keep it fresh.

Which episode did you like the least?

The one that comes to mind for me is Men Against Fire. That political commentary was so fucking hamfisted, predictable and just poorly executed. The character were also really bad, especially the two females who acted 100% as men, making it all just feel so awkward.

There has to be at least a small population on Sup Forums of people who hate a show for it to be good.

San Junipero, just because Black Mirror episodes shouldn't have happy endings. it would've been fine as a stand-alone movie, but to be Black Mirror it needed the maintenance robots at the end to wipe the drives or something.

So you're saying they ALL come out at once, or just some of them?
How will I know which order to watch them in?

Maybe if Black Mirror continues for 10 more series, but not now. The joy of BM is that each episode is completely different with a completely different setting.

The Waldo episode really fell flat for me. I know what they were trying to do, but it just didn't work for me.

>How will I know which order to watch them in?

whatever order you want.

>it's a "Sup Forums hates San Junipero just because it's popular" thread

I like the one that covertly promotes miscegenation.

I hate this reasoning. Why does every single episode have to end in tragedy?

I understand that it's part of the show's identity, but doing it in every single episode makes it very predictable.

>How will I know which order to watch them in?
Are you retarded? It literally doesn't matter as every episode is stand-alone, but you would've been able to tell by their numbers, had it not been so.

He also robbed a bank and killed someone on the basis of a flimsy promise that a secret would be kept, he obviously wasn't a very intelligent or morally responsible person.

The hilarious thing is people were still rooting for him after he terrorised people and committed murder, but then draw the line at naughty pictures - now that's the real horror.

As for the "wrong message", what makes Shut Up And Dance good is that there isn't really a definite message, you can interpret the events from all sorts of perspectives.

I think it's one of the best episodes of Black Mirror because there's alot to think about. It taps into specific fears teenagers have, it's about the present and based on recent events (instead of just le scary future) and even challenges the concept of a protagonist and what makes you root for a character.

Of course there are no biracial lesbians in the episode, which obviously doesn't cut it with the Emmys.

>Mom!!! Mom!!!

i dont get why the kid even cooperated
all he was doing was beating off, fuck i would just tell my contacts not to watch it unless they want to see that shit

Did you not watch the episode lmao.

I really liked that episode. It both had spooks and feels.

>getting baited this hard

Wasn't that just because the technology was bad?

Well, it's pretty fucking awkward having to face everybody you know after they've seen you fap, to pedoshit, no less.

What I didn't quite understand in the episode was how could they even prove that he was watching naked children or whatever? They filmed him from the front (through his integrated webcam), so they can't have actually filmed him fapping to that shit.

OOOOHHH BABY DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT'S WORTH

It's almost 4 am here, in my defense.

>pedo gets v&
>tragedy

I don't think it's a tragedy, nor did I even imply it.

But even then, it was obviously a shitty ending for the protagonist.

That's pretty much the biggest plothole - it doesn't make sense, unless you accept that he was just a moron who panicked.

I think you have to suspend your disbelief though, it's pretty much the central point of the episode so you have to just accept that the blackmailer had proof, and it's much harder to lie about your innocence when the evidence is embarassing anyway.

It's not just a moron who panicked because of the ending, so the idea that there is irrefutable proof is definitely there. The crappy execution is the problem.

>99% of episodes have shit ending for main characters
>only happy ending is for the lone gay couple in the lesbian episode
makes you think desu

I liked the bicycle one with the black dude

>milquetoast episodes
>thematically abberant
>asinine relationship dramas
you sound like you'd be such fun at parties. Is Sup Forums really the place to be vomiting your thesaurus?
