Why has Jason Todd never been in a live-action Batman film? His tarnished suit in BvS doesn't count

Why has Jason Todd never been in a live-action Batman film? His tarnished suit in BvS doesn't count.

Because with Under the Red Hood and Arkham Knight, the fans who actually give a shit about him have had enough of him, and those who have never heard of him don't give a shit about him.

Because normies will think he's an edgy copy of memepool

He's an edgy copy of nightwing

because he only became Red Hood in 2005

This is the same problem that happened with Talia al Ghul in TDKR, and Khan in Into Darkness, and Blofeld in Spectre.

The aim is to make people go "Oh, it's THAT PERSON!" but it never works, because the audiences is always divided into camps: Those who say "Who?" and those who say "No shit." Nobody ever actually gives the reaction they want, and it always fails.

The red hood animated movie was kino enough

it's kind of hard to imagine a character who goes to destructive extremes that BvS's Batman will not

Talia alghul was easily the worst part of tdkr next to Anne Hathaway

Yup, same with the Arkham Knight game. As soon as the character was revealed everyone knew it was Jadon Todd. What’s worse is the devs made a big stink about how wrong that was and how no one would ever figure out who it was, when it was always Jason Todd

Because in the Comics they were able to build him up properly.

Audiences wouldn't have the same connection or shock if they introduce Jason Todd in a movie and he gets "killed" in the same movie

I'm gonna admit it took longer than it should have to work it out but the scene where batman has flashbacks of Todd's "death" gave it away. If he was at least mentioned a few times in the previous games I probably would have appreciated the reveal better.

>Fatman
the absolute state

Batman is like
>FUCK my ONE weakness.... guns

one movie that did it right was Winter Soldier because they didn't even try to hide it from the audience. It was obvious from all the trailers and he was on the cast list and everything and they did the reveal at like 40 minutes into the movie.
They just made it a twist for Cap instead of trying to make it a twist for the audience.

His storyline can't work in DCEU because Snyder made Batman a murderer in BVS.

Are you a retard? He has literally nothing in common with Deadpool. Just keep quiet if this is the type of thing you have to contribute.

Seems like they would have eventually had him in the DCEU but WB shit the bed hard

>Khan in Into Darkness

that was so awful "my names is...khan" *music swells as if it matters*

and then no reaction, because that meant nothing to the characters in the movie, it was just really shitty fanservice. should have been an original character.

>desert eagle
what's it chambered for? memes.

>that meant nothing to the characters in the movie

Isn't Khan Noonien Singh a famous figure in Earth's past? He's essentially Hitler except a badass - when they figured out who he was in the TV show they were like 'Aw fuck'.

young spock speak to old briefly and says something along the lines of he's the most dangerous man he ever met in his lifetime.

that's it.

he was such a waste of a character, I'm not sure how they could have handled it any worse.

because leto joker is gay as fuck and no one wants to see him again
