Is this a bigger disappointment than Korra?

Is this a bigger disappointment than Korra?

Not as big of a disappointment as OP

What a funny and original comment

It was the best season of anything in Western animation. Keep on being edgy tho

He's not wrong

Yes.

I honestly feel bad for anyone saying otherwise.

Fucking cucks man.

Nah, it was good, but the last third of the finale was too compacted.

Felt this way too. It was the best SJ season anyway, no contest

That word has no meaning anymore.

Nah, I liked it, the part of Aku sending Jack into the future and Jack coming back was perfect

I am not that big of a disappoinment as you cucks and new Samurai Jack was a complete piece of shit, so no.

God is dead and so are we.

Subjectively speaking, no, because despite its flaws it had much more great things to remember fondly.
Objectively speaking, no again, because this was just 10 episodes while Korra had 4 seasons; that's a lot to take in for a disappointing finale
I didn't even find it that disappointing, it was more of a "meh" ending.

>YOU'RE BACK ALREADY
That line is so unadulterated Aku. Fitting last words.

No. It had some pacing issues because it was only 10 eps but besides that it was good.
I am pretty sure it was only 10 eps because adult swim didn't know if it would do good or not, now that it turned out to be a success I bet they wish they gave it more eps.

Fuck off, seriously. You know what your problem is? You jashifags can't think critically. YOU are the reason for the decline in the industry. YOU are the reason for shit like TTG and new PPG. I fucking hate ignorance and dumb assholes like you. So fuck off and don't come back. Don't reply to this post because I will not read it. I repeat, DO NOT reply to me

>92606582
Jesus, keep your autism in check, you might have a heart attack.

>Aku: "You have to bring out your best to beat the samurai! And your best part is ME!"
>ashi uses her powers against Aku
>Aku doesn't control HIMSELF anymore for no reason
>doesn't reach into the time portal LIKE HE ALREADY DID BEFORE

I've never been so asshurt and disappoint

Nah, i liked it. It was a bit rushed, but the part about all of jacks friends coming together to fight aku is exactly what i always wanted to have happen.

...

>"...and we've grown exceedingly efficient at it."

Yes you are. Loser

He tried to reach them, actually. He was just too late; remember his hand slamming against the floor where they were standing less than a second ago?
I also attribute Aku not taking over Ashi to him being dumbstruck, after all, Ashi having his powers was unexpected for literally everyone in the room.

Not at all. It was great.

Only insecure oldies who haven't had much luck in romance could really find it offensive imho.

Gravity Falls

>ashi having powers of aku
>i love you lol fixes everything
>literally no fight with aku, just one jump and thats it
>and much more shit i am not going to mention because there's just too much shit

this show has so many issues that it barely holds on itself.

Come on user, let's be fair. We can't boil down all complains about the show to just that; there are some obvious flaws that some people weren't willing to overlook. I personally did and enjoyed the final product a lot, but not everyone could.

first part is 9/10
second part is 8/10
third part is 7/10
finale is 6/10

...

The whole season or the finale?

Cant tell of legitmate sperg or false flag

finale

whole season is 7.5/10

What's a 10/10?

If Korra ended with season 3 it would have been way better. season 4 of korra was absolute shit though, but at least we got good porn from Korra. With Jack we got 3 good episodes and that's it, So I would say it was more disappointing yes

TTGL

I'd give it an 8, or 8.5, but I understand your judgement.

Western Animation user

This one season had more interesting and satisfying stuff than in just one of korras seasons.

oh

idk I guess Ego Trip, relatively speaking

I haven't seen yet, after all these years. Won't bother watching, I feel like I won't like it.

can't tell if Sup Forums or being new

It's the biggest disappointment for me when it comes to cartoons. It has so many issues that I can't really imagine how could they fuck this up so much.

Is Genndy secretly a hack that rides on others? How can you explain such a dive in quality comparing to the old seasons?

Not at all. Jack was good but a little rushed Korra had 4 seasons and they all felt like they were made up on the spot.

No, actually. Because I managed to keep watching this. Korra was so bad they pulled it off of TV and after that I couldn't bother keeping up with it.

Besides, Samurai Jack was never good for its story. Its story was just a pile of cliches. And hey, this finale reminded me of an anime I enjoyed, so there's that.

yeah it should be for you Sup Forums faggots since it doesn't have dykeshit in it.

People expected the whole season to be on par with the best episodes in the the series, but just like with the original show only some of them were.
The show has always been consistently good, but not every episode can be The Princess and the Bounty Hunters.

That's true, but it didn't feel like they even tried with the final episode. The way it was going I honestly expected it to end on a standard episode's "WATCHA!".

I wanted jack to go back to the past and save the future and it happened so im okay with ending. Ashi pulling the victory move out of her ass was lame tho

>One ten episode season
>As big as four seasons of Korra
Jack didn't lead us on nearly as long as Korra, and only had a single new "main character" instead of a whole new cast. Besides, both ATLA and Jack were very overrated by Sup Forums before their sequels came out. They're entertaining, but they're not masterpieces.

Looks like user hit a nerve lol

Several episodes of this season were outright bad.

D
D every time.

Not until the ending.

Don't watch this show. Did Mako get mentioned in the credits or anything?

Would I be considered a notorious enough shitposter to combust?

>We can't boil down all complains about the show to just that

Yes, yes we can

(you)

>Ashi having his powers was unexpected for literally everyone in the room.

>5 seasons of build up to final battle
>it's decided by the girlfriend character added in the last season who discovers an unknown power in the last five minutes of the entire show

SJfags think this is good writing. They literally defend this.

GET THIS HOTHEAD OUTTA BIG GUY WOULD BE EXTREMELLY PAINFUL

Someone is triggered

Whole season was like a rollercoaster
It started with the big slide and then went just straight line

9 should be under movie tbqh

The season was good, the ending was acceptable, there were pacing issues in the season, and holy fuck, all of Sup Forums is ridiculously unreasonable about this. The season was good, the problem is you.

At least Genndy isn't coming out and calling people sexist for not liking the ending. So far.

To me no. But it was not fantastic either. But I honestly never expected Samurai Jack to have an amazing plot. The stories themselves where never why SJ was a good show, but rather how they where told, through great animation and beautiful art.
I honestly think that that is this seasons biggest problem. There where too much talking, and not enough showing, which is what sort of happens when you have more characters interacting with each other.
Notice how people liked the first couple of episodes better than the last ones. In the first ones you have very few moments of characters interacting since Jack was still alone. They where more in tone with the old episodes.
All in all, I don't expect this season to go down as the best one, but it did it's job, making us able to finally close the book on Jacks tale.

Korra's problem was that it dropped actual martial arts and trying to do a villain of the week thing between books.
With Jack season 5 I would say the problem was that the ending was too abrupt and people wanted something longer and less tragic, even finite.

That ending was pretty fucking good tho
Bringing back all of Jack's allies and finally reuniting with the Scotsman
Finally fulfilling his purpose by going back to the past and killing Aku
The last fight was a little rushed, but it still looked cool and felt incredibly satisfying to watch that final blow
10/10
