Alucard

It does look kinda promising.

fuck that looks amazing

>American finally make up for the Captain N and the LoZ cartoons
What a time to be alive

FUCKING ace, can't wait.

Castlevania is back bitches

All those "How to draw manga" books are finally giving results

>implying those weren't the purest form of vidya kino

The LoZ cartoon wasn't really bad; it may feel really different from what we think of Zelda now but it did an admirable job from what little US fiction existed. Way too many people who started with OoT and beyond seem to forget that wasn't what the Zelda universe always was.

>>yfw now murricans make better anime than nippland
By adapting Japanese properties?

Not to mention there's like eighteen threads on Sup Forums defending Samurai Jack when all it did was a shot for shot anime rip off

Netflix is saving western animation, rejoice!

It is animated in Korea. You're delusional if you think otherwise.

>thinking americans do key frames inhouse

wake up user

Exactly, when that was made only two Zelda games existed. Not a lot of lore to work with.

The music however was amazing.

Is that Sypha? Is the main character Trevor, then?

>Murricans are so bad at animation they need to copy the Japanese

Go ahead.

>It is animated in Korea
Show me one link that says they outsource anything. One.

powerhouseanimation.com/south-korea-trip/
This is a trip to MUA's facilities, not theirs.

We'll wait.

You do know who your glorious nipnip got their anime style from, right?

yea, I think one of those guys was Grant too

The Jews?

...

...

>it's another east vs west thread on Sup Forums

Japan and the West have borrowed from and influenced each other so much that there really isn't much difference anymore.

Osamu Tezuka was inspired by classic Disney, Western creators like Genndy Tartakovsy and Craig McCracken created cartoons that emulated Japanese tropes and aesthetics, and then Studio Gainax created an anime inspired by anime-influenced cartoons (Panty and stocking), and now shows like Steven Universe and Regular Show mix cartoony character designs with the framing and visual cues of anime.

It's pretty much impossible to find a western cartoon that doesn't have any anime influence.

TL;DR everyone takes inspiration from anyone so arguing is pointless

They never admit when they outsource user. American animators aren't even capable of doing the sakuga in the trailer.

Every good american 2D animation in the last 10 years was done in Japan and Korea. EVERY SINGLE ONE including this one.

And no I can't give you proof because I don't need proof. I'm an animation expert, it's pretty obvious.

Sup Forums thought this is an anime

so that's why they fear the samurai

Anyone else whats to play stranger things for the NES?

The castle reminds me of the map from Dracula´s Curse.

>Frederator in charge of keeping Castlevania alive

Rev up those "Fuck Konami" chants boys!

On an update to the recent Castlevania´s news Konami as announced that it will cancel the anime for no reason and reuse its assets for a new pachinko machine exclusive for the japanese market.

Were injustice threads not enough for companyfaggotry?

I would honestly argue this is even more obnoxious than company wars.

you are correct that there was outsourcing, but it was mostly for inbetweens and clean up work. All the heavy duty animating and keys were done in the states.

France?

>it's a Sup Forums starts making pompous, exaggerated claims over less than a minute of animation episode

Looks pretty generic, actually.

This has made me sad that we won't see anything more from Castlevania. The series is dead. This looks like it could be great, or at least good. but we won't see a non pachinko castlevania game ever again.

I don't give a damn who animated it or where

and you're a faggot for caring.

>tfw konami is sending all good remakes and sequel potentials to gambling purgatory
I'm still mad about MGS3

Suikoden
Castlevania
MGS
Zone of the enders
Bloody roar
Silent Hill

fuck, just thinking about how these franchises are dead dead makes me fucking mad!

Bioshock series when?

>le walt disney meme

That doesn't mean shit when you look how streamline american animation has devolved while japanese artist have more variety in art styles.

>less than 10 seconds of actual animation
>what animation there is looks stilted and choppy
>"Sup Forums BTFO FOREVER!"

Kill yourselves

t. Sup Forums

this looks fucking sexy

>stilted and choppy
So, just like anime?

Doesn't look bishie enough.

Dat sounds like Liam Neeson at the end.

>all of those
Fucking hell, Konami. Is the company run by fucking Satan?

anime and manga stopped looking like disney and astro boy since aeons ago

There's even more
Contra
DDR
Bomberman
Gradius
Sparkster
Yugioh

>Bomberman
youtube.com/watch?v=aZaSgnYLceQ

>By adapting Japanese properties?
You mean like the anime style itself? Which also borrowed from Disney just as Castlevania did from European folklore? I don't get your point.

Also frankly Konami isn't gonna do shit with the IP outside some mobileshit and almost-gambling machines, glad they let this happen.

YOOOOOOOOOOOO

Weeb here, and I have to agree.
Burgers won this time. They are clearly putting more love into this than japs put on any anime lately.
Really hyped for this anyway.

I think that was point of post that it looks too much like anime

Only the strongest can survive after getting their legs broken

>you rang?

>who are you?
youtu.be/brs6-uQMfGU?t=29s

>animated by adventure time animation studio
>they can pull this off when they don't have to stick to squiggly style
Absolutely based.

>Castlevania
>Better than Irresponsible Captain Tylor
I mean it looks good, but let's not get crazy here.

Major did nothing wrong!

>japanese artist have more variety in art styles
Lmao no, all those filthy noodle eyes do is try to make everything look realistic which gets boring really quick. Most of their characters look generic too. The reason why animation is so popular over there is because Japs are ugly irl so their film industry never really took off. That's why they give most anime characters European features and claim they're Japanese because they're that self hating.

>all those filthy noodle eyes do is try to make everything look realistic which gets boring really quick.

Do you have any idea what you are talking about.

>all those filthy noodle eyes do is try to make everything look realistic
Totally agree, I think they reached the peak of realism with this one.

fuckk off with that shit nigga
youtube.com/watch?v=7DTHoqAEenM

But yugioh isn't dead

Looks good but it's still to animesque to save Western animation.

FUCKING
DIAMONDS

Nothing can save Western animation. It's been fucking dead for years.

>japanese artist have more variety in art styles.

>Trevor has the scar from Curse of Darkness
I just love how they paid attention to every detail.
Castlevania 3 was the best choice for adapting it into animated series. This is going to be the tits.

I believe he's saying something like anime stick to a samey realism style and less of the exaggeration of cartooning. Same as like what Disney sort of did with their human designs. Though Japs did have primarily exaggerated art before they were influenced by Western style.

They'll move full on pachinko exclusively once """""metal gear"""""" survive fails.

Please do not make porn of this girl. She looks like she's way too pure.

Says the faggot who hasn't been to a local tournament where everyone plays Pendulum/XYZ faggotry all day erry day

If a single animated series is supposed to BTFO anime, at least make it look considerably better.

>being mad about fucking Pendulums

I swear you can always tell who doesn't know shit about the game by how triggered they are over pendulums.

You probably are 28 years too late.

So far this looks almost at the same level of Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust to me, so I think they are doing better than 90% of anime.

>burgers trying to do anime

You've failed every time, Avatar, RWBY.

Seriously stop embarrassing yourselves

>Pendulum/XYZ
Already old and busted, Links are the new hotness.

>so I think they are doing better than 90% of anime.

I don't get it. What exactly looks in any way impressive about any of this animation wise?

>the same level of Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
It's not at that high a level. You're exaggerating.

What the fuck are you talking about that was in the 50's- early 60s

Just like bad anime, yes.

>Made by Frederator
>no noodle-arms in sight
What did they mean by this?

>Frederator
Wait WHAT?!!?

Because the people in charge are competent.

Most of these are based on Disney's traditional styling. So yeah the influence is still there.

I really wish westerners stopped trying to make anime

That's why I said "So far" and "almost"
I'm assuming they choose the best looking scenes for the trailer, and that there will be some ugly looking stuff on the episodes. I hope I'm mistaken on that though.

...

This is a good day. Que fifty more noodle arm cartoons though.

Well then, I guess every stylized drawing ever made is influenced by Disney.

It's Sypha, right? There's almost nothing of her. A great injustice.

did you not notice the link at the end of OP's post

Can you point out a specific scene in the trailer that impressed you with its animation? Because I really don't see it. This looks painfully average to me.

>Avatar
Same demographic as shounenshit. Better than majority of them.

>RWBY
A fucking Web series yet is better animated than televised Jap CG anime series.

>pure
>it's canon that she has sex

We already made up for that with the mario show. Catch up nigga.

>Look realistic
I dont think so
