when DC

Alex Ross Creeper creepiest creeper

moar plz

How was his appearance in Deathstroke?

Never. You can't have nice things!

Well I do not see Creeper threads everyday.

Cute Creeper

So is that backhair or what?

How many versions of the Creeper are there exactly and how do they differ? I'm only familiar with the DCAU version which I understand fudged a few details and differed from Ditko's original.

no

I found it amusing that Jack Ryder showed up in every single Arkham game but never became the Creeper. Does that count as a version?

For some reason he gets more appearances as a talking head on TV than as the Creeper.

Yeah, come to think of it, he's in Telltale Batman too, looking like John Oliver.

It's easier to set him up as "asshole TV anchor" than "asshole TV anchor has a split-personality that turns him into a superpowered anti-hero". He shows up because he's an easy namedrop in any setting, just have a bunch of talking heads on a news channel and you can make one Jack Ryder. Same reason Vicki Vale has way more cameo appearances than her actual role as news reporter/journalist who is dating Batman.

Just make him randomly turn into the Creeper during TV interviews.

Very good

Dementia cosplaying as Creeper when?

Bump

I had a crush on him

So does the Creeper have any re/co/mmended reading list?

Besides Ditko and Kaminsky, Alan Grant and Ted Mckeever did a perfect short story in Showcase.

Yes

Explain him to me. Is it magic? Does he have powers?¿

Really wanted to see a proper Creeper cameo but oh well.

He was in an issue of Desthstroke.
And brought from being a demon from Katana's sword like he was in N52.

Ok anons, should Creeper be a demon or a split personality of Ryder?

Does this help?

I can't help but think of Jim Carrey when I see This Creeper.
It's just too perfect.

I want a Creeper story that is essentially the DCU version of Fight Club!

Split personality.

Creeper art dump because I can.

Cuter

The 90s series got really freaking weird towards the end.

Would have Creeper and Joanne made a cute couple?

Was DCAU Creeper the best version?

youtube.com/watch?v=OjRCUhds0hU

For me all Creeper versions are pretty enjoyable, only N52 Creeper is trash.

Let's see if I can list some of them.

>Original Ditko version (the not insane one)

>Post-COIE/Bronze age (the one who is canonically always high on drugs)

>90s/Kaminski series version (the long haired and red-eyed one)

>Vertigo version (the female french one)

>Post-Infinite Crisis version (complete split personlaity)

>New52 version (the oni one)

>Rebirth version feels like a mix of Bronze age and Post-Infinite crisis so far.

Non comics versions

>DCAU version (Yellow-skinned wacky man!)

>Batman: BaTB version (did not get that Creeper/Question/Odd Man team episode sadly)

>Arkham games Creeper (or Jack Ryder since Creeper is only mentioned here, pretty much goes for the Batman Telltale game but Creeper has not been referenced at all as far I know)

There are surely some I missed, you anons can fill in if you like.

This

Do you even remember her, Sup Forums?

Of course

When was Creeper mentioned in the Arkham games?

Wish she appeared for more then one minute in one scene, she was a great antidote to all the crazy.

Asylum mentioned him in Jack's character bio, but that's pretty much it

i fucking love that he bites on her hat when they are about to crash

Creeper is mentioned in a Quincy Sharp interview in City along with Huntress.

It's the second tape.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=VQEawpQ6xL4

Huh, yet they never actually put him in :(

I'm happy this thread has lasted as long as it has, Creeper deservs some love.

Yeah, I have no idea why really. At first I thought Creeper would've been too OP for the game or something but I don't know.

In any way it felt like a cocktease.

Yeah, doubly so if, as pointed out, Creeper did exist in universe.

You'd think when Ryder was about to be sacrificed by Deacon Blackfire would be a good time to manifest.

Maybe in the Arkham universe Jack is not really able transform at will and is a bit like the Bronze age version and thinks Creeper is a different person.

That mission itself felt pretty tacked on though. It could very easily been extended to include some Creeper shenanigans for Batman to deal with.

Or Rocksteady just dropped the ball on the whole thing.

Bump

I want more cute Creeper and Jack bickering in my life.

...

...

back to classic style

...

Too much effort, I suppose.

>Vicky vales lists Creeper as one of Gotham vigilantes during along with huntress during her interview with Mayor Sharp
>Jack never transforms even under the insanely stressful and dangerous conditions of Arkham City
I'm STILL mad

So, I've only seen the DCAU incarnation of the Creeper, and I was still confused.

Is he a bad guy?
What's his complete alignment, fellas?

FUCK.

Chaotic Wacky.

CN with leaning towards CG

I was surprised how short that mission was, too.
And that Ryder had the courage and stupidity to go check Blackfire out in the middle of all the shit that was going down.

Chaotic chaotic.
Other than messing up that clothing store, everything "bad" he did he did to the Joker and Harley, and aside from creeping on Harley, was no worse than what Bats does to them.

>Vale mentions the Creeper as one of Gotham's vigilantes to Mayor Sharp in Arkham City
>Jack Ryder talks about lining up an interview with a doctor who uses nanomachines, which is the Creeper's origin story, in Arkham Night

MAKE UP YOUR MIND

Too much effort, they had more important things to do. Like cram in more non-riddles or car shit.

>Arkham Knight
>I'm going to prove I'm the superior intellectual
>Riddle me this Batman,I'm going to kill you with a car obstacle course

Batman and Catwoman continually insult Eddie over the fact that most of his challenges aren't really riddles

Being self aware doesn't isn't a get out of jail free card for making shit portions of a game

They need to get Milligan and McCarthy to write a young animal creeper mini.

What was the reaction around Sup Forums when Creeper popped up again as a japanese Oni that was stuck in the Soulsword?

Currently reading Kaminski's Creeper. It's a lot similar to modern day Moon Knight. I also noticed that Jack Rider is modeled after Steve Ditko.

>This thread is still upp

Well this is officially the longest Creeper thread I've come across.

I have only seen others dislike it, when Deathstroke #11 was announced I saw quite a few people who got pretty happy that the N52 version was gonna get sacked.

Why is he so ugly?! With so little clothing, they could've made him look hotter.

It was written by non-Daredevil Ann Nocenti. Make of that what you will

>There is pretty much zero r34 of this guy

Is Creepy just too pure for that?

>Implying you wouldn't banana split him.

The people who make porn are plebs.

When will Creeper fight is nemesis Proteus again?

Silly user
Creeper is cute, CUTE!

A little bump for our boa boy

I love how Creeper can be both an absolute cute and shit inducingly scary.

Some old shitty fanart i made of this guy.

That's cute!

I have always thought Creeper's interactions with Batman where fun.

>Batman: BaTB version (did not get that Creeper/Question/Odd Man team episode sadly)

Fuck me I would've loved that team-up.

Bump

kek

So only people with practician taste draws Creeper?

That was the BEST episode by far to me!

I can agree with that.
