You’re kidding...is this film really worth wasting nearly 5 hours of my life on?

Get on my level.

Das Kino

Yes, it's legit great. You're not forced to watch it all in one sitting, break it up into chunks. You've probably spent way more time than that watching some shitty TV series

>questioning Das Boot

You're not in some hurry to achieve something in your life anyways.

Honestly you'd just waste it doing something else just as unproductive.

Get your cat a bigger pod man that can't be comfy.

OUCH

> bitches about 5 hours long movie
> proceeds to wath 13 hours long tv serie in two days
There, that's another (you) to your shitty bait, happy ?
Also 6 parts miniserie.

This. You prob spend 5 hours on 4chin and reddit each day, dumb pleb OP

>5 hour movie? Are you crazy?
>oh but I'll just sit down to watch 10 consecutive hours of this Netflix original series on a whim

Normies man

cats will be comfy in a cardboard box that's half the size they are

>That shitty poster
Jesus, it's like they don't want people to see the movie.

All of those numale simplistic posters are.

Not my cat, but comfier? He drinking his favorite tea, as well.

This fuck Sup Forums give us /film/

Actually I limit myself to 3 and a half hours of tv / movies per night I'll have you know.

You mean >>>/film/catalog

I love this one. That original is just so caught up in the movie tho it's impossible to beat.

Ewwwww too simplistic!

Got automatically shortened, though you can visit the url

You are little baby. Watch this

Dark. Brooding shadow. The vast majority is the Sea.

Perfect poster. One of the best frankly.

Little boy

it's not for you

i dont remember it being so long

it's worth double the amount of hours

where can I find the 5 hour version? I only ever see the 3 hour one

I watched the 2.5 hour theatrical version and it was long enough. I don't know how it would benefit from being twice as long, but since it's a mini series in five parts I will watch it one day.

>film
Its a flick at best

You lose the entire day shitposting here
Fuck you

>5 hours
I never realised it was that long.
Fucking kino movie

I dunno, I wasted 6 on Nymphomaniac

There is only one way to watch Das Boot

There are several versions of Das Boot. The First one was jsut short 2 hour 30. Then there is the 3 and half hour Directors Cut. And finally the Miniseries one that's almost 5 hours long and OP is talking about that one.

>not watching the 10-hour miniseries

you waste 5 hours a day playing games and posting on Sup Forums so why can't you watch this?

i only have the 4 hour version and apparently this is just as sufficient.

Yes. Its the best war movie. Best suspense kino.

Satantango is also worth it.

>is this film really worth wasting nearly 5 hours of my life on?
no

The good thing about the original poster is that it doesnt focus on the people. The submarine and the sea are the main characters.

*Blocks your paths*
Psst...
Nothing personal...
Kiddo

You know, I have watched Das Boot multiple times and never had an issue with the run time. I normally can't watch a movie longer than two and a half hours in one sitting unless I really like it.

Honestly, I think the length of the film is what gives it flavor. It gives them time to work up the intensity and really makes you feel engaged with the story.

Its a great example of what a war film could be. Does not need to be action non stop.

If you are a man, yes. If you are female, you will never understand it.

I actually learned a little german from watching it. Great movie. Watch it in parts if you can't handle

>You’re kidding...is this film really worth wasting nearly 5 hours of my life on?
well
it's the greatest war film of all time

>teleports behind you

why not? you marathon mini-series don't you?

this is just the same except without episode breaks.

It's really good. I unfortunately only got to see some of the 3.5 hour cut when it was on tv but I didn't found it boring at all.

Except many of scenes got me really hyped.
The battle scenes of those fucking kino camera following scenes of the sailors running all the way through the narrow corridors of the u boat.
the technical accuracy.
It's so fucking juicy.

It's nothing like typical movies with huge run lengths which are usually pretentious dreck like

I want that version. I heard there is on longer. And yes, it's amazing.

The ending just depresses me. More so than similar endings in lesser flicks.

That cat is rude.

you wouldn't be wasting anything

Do you really run psyops on this board? Are you the same fag who tried to get us all to watch Synecdoche New York like 2 weeks ago? I appreciate your effort but you should use your power for good, not getting us to watch liberal shit. That movie was pure soy.

I'm not watching a movie sympathizing with Nazi murderers.
