Is it just me or has this show gotten worse? They really ramped up the "Slow walking with some non-mainstream music playing while they walk down an alleyway" this last season. Imo Season 1-2 was the best and season 3 was bearable.

Yea plot wise it's gotten too ambitious for its own good. I liked Adrian Brody/Tom Hardy in the latest season but the rest of it was meh. Not sure what they can do next season to keep it interesting.

By taking off the blinders and symbolizing this by just calling next season Peaky.

Personally I think season 4 is one of the better seasons of the show. It has a distinct feel to it seeing as how the Peaky Blinders have been growing in power. Season 3 was more of a mixed bag with what felt like a convoluted plot line it does have the best scene in the series though
Also there hasn't been a villain as likeable or menacing as Luca Changretta so far.

Usually switches between Cave and PJ Harvey, and on occasion there's a Radiohead song. I really dislike the musical choices in this show. It should have period-appropriate music, not this mix of modern and old just because there were no songs in the 20s that could aptly present a scene as tough and badass

I really wish he'd went for something other than the Godfather voice. The character was decent, but every time he spoke it just reminded me of every hack I've heard doing a shitty Brando. Paddy Considine was far more menacing.
