Gave my brother a call right after it was over. Never seen so many grown men/chads cry during a movie

I'll tell you how he lived

What a great honor to have Tom Cruise carry on the samurai tradition for us.

Let me tell you something that might be a bit dangerous. I was raised in Japan. I was schooled in martial arts. I was given the title of master. They take a movie “The Last Samurai.” They have a 5-foot-2-inch little guy, whether he was straight or gay, I don’t know. I don’t care. He had never been to Japan. He doesn’t speak Japanese. He has never held a sword. They make him the Last Samurai. We got 450,000 phone calls [laughs] from everybody in the world saying, “That role was perfect for you. How did that happen?” Most of the people I know didn’t like the film and didn’t go see it. It’s just a classic example of Hollywood and the politics.

The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies. The ending made me tear up. Thorin was based and Bilbo Baggins crying over his dead body while the eagles come in is a very powerful, emotional and moving scene. Aspects of the Hobbit are better than LOTR I think although overall LOTR is better. But the first and second Hobbit films are just as good.

I love everything about this film. His friendship with icecream guy the parallels with the cartoons throughout, I just feel so empty at the end every time.

hachi
paths of glory
man on the moon
the champ

...

Personal reasons.

I cried like a bitch

Fuck, for some reason I forgot about this. Good movie.

very underrated. I think because the posters and some trailers make it look like total dogshit

King Kong Vs. Mecha?

...

Somehow this rollercoaster ride of emotions got me bursting into treats the last time I watched it. This actor is amazing.

This and Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Somehow, as I age, films that focus on fatherhood start hitting me more and more.

...

watched this the other night expecting to be total shit but i actually enjoyed it

Katsumoto lived a good life and died a good death. There is nothing to cry for!

...

why didnt he just snatch tom cruises birthday for stealing his perfect role? was he too busy with the punani?

...

He was too busy filming Belly of the Beast

HE JUST KEEPS GETTING UP JOE

I was expecting to hear
>*record scratch*
>*freeze frame*

yup, that's me. you might ask how I got myself into this situation...

>from the bags point of view

>imagining segal here
What you want to hit me? come here *snaps neck* who's next?

>pulls out a modern AR
>snatches every motherfucker birthday

Can anybody explain why he didn't just stay down and be safe, I really didn't understand this movie

the will to power

every fucking time god dammit

...

>Tell me how he died
>I will tell you how he lived

Terr me how he died

...

>But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you. I love you. With all my heart, I love you.

my name is gladiator

It's the visual representation of the differences between the idea of "what makes a man strong", while in japan they have a culture of "don´t bother fighting battles that you will lose and if you try anyway and lose just keep your head low" while the character of tom cruise shows the western way of "bruteforcing something stronger than you".
To the nipponese it's the equivalent of seeing someone bashing their head against the wall repetedly while saying something like "the next headbutt will break this wall I'm sure", that's why they are so surprised.

...

Are you a woman?

literally anime

Literally every time "Concerning Hobbits" plays in Lotr.
Hell even in the Hobbit that fucking music moves me.

>I've never seen the film, the post

Unironically the last scene where stone is sitting in the goose’s club, and it flashes back through the whole movie where the two of them end up together instead of breaking up, then goes back to reality got me good.

>Emma will never love you
that makes me cry

t. Soyboy

THIS is kino.

Me too. I swear if my sock was a real women then all the cums I put into it would've birthed me a small army by now, instead it grew mushrooms.

...

Would it have worked as well with some French fuck instead of Tom Cruise?

Based user. This is my favourite movie.

ending just pissed me off because the wrong guy won, its not that I rly wanted to root for hardy but the other guy literally made no sense and his victories were asspulls and I didnt have any reason AT ALL to root for him.

Dear Zachary, not necessarily because it made me sad, but because it made me fucking furious. When she kills herself and the kid I had to pause because I was bawling and couldn't pay attention to the screen.

...

What is this?

It's Such a Beautiful Day

Logan doesn't do much to me but GotG 2 did hit me hard.

wat. the japs were completely not like that. they literally did suicide runs and would never surrender (pre-nukes).

Since when did this guy start making Bollywood films?

Agreed.

I don't cry at films because I'm not a weak-willed pussy.

All of you crybabies back to plebbit.

this
>warcraft
>hachiko
>every single IP man

Fuck no, Tom Cruise's charisma is off the charts it wouldn't have had anywhere near the impact.

you cried when you saw the first porn film your mom did tho

Because they thought they would win with their banzai shit. They stopped it when they encountered more resilient enemies.

ghost dog

she was 4 and they beat her like a man. Even I have empathy.

How can he be so fat if he is so hairy?

i lol'd

Gattaca always gets me at the end.

canola, try not to cry -> cry-> cried harder

Any true story about a retard like I am Sam

This is the right answer

i still cry at this

The whole point is that Cruise is not a samurai, but he respects and honors them, unlike the the people in Japan.

you aren't crying, you are menstruating from your eyes

...

The last samurai isn't even good.

Have you watched Big Fish?

I cried when I watched Tokyo Story during the "Isn't life disappointing?" scene.
I was then surprised that a movie this old could get to me.

bullshit

name a better samurai movie made by hollywood

beverly hills ninja

47 ronin was alright

Rush Hour 2?

Cried like a bitch for the last 20 minutes or so.

Memories of Murder

...

Yep. Beautiful ending. I can't help believe people kept saying "Oh, La La Land is just Hollywood sucking its own dick." No. That's literally the opposite point the movie was making.

I don't cry at that shit. I just find it manipulative garbage.

I cry like a child every time.

"Ma perché se è mio lo tieni tu?"

youtube.com/watch?v=2AOWWTilu6Q

Cried like a woman desu

...

He was so honorabru, many tear cried

The best moment of the trilogy probably.
The meaning of friendship.
youtube.com/watch?v=BKIgv8AhffA

can't watch this

What faggot movie is this?

In theaters when Logan is burying Xavier, the feels were real. But then people started to laugh when Logan was smashing the truck with the shovel in frustration. That shit pissed me off.

>Also Laura turning the grave marker on it's side... No laughs. All feels.

...

I still wonder what henchman #1 planned to do with that opening move.
