It's unironically the most consistently enjoyable series of movies ever made. Even Rocky V wasn't all that bad.

I quit watching after part 4. Got tired of watching this manlet win every fight. Talia was a 1/10 in the rocky movies. His dog Rufus was the shit though.

I'm glad you asked. I watched the whole series for the first time last weekend. Rocky was an amazing film, very poignant and heartwarming. Everything after that was just riding off of the first movie, with varying degrees of quality. The only one I absolutely despised was 5. And yes shy nerdy Christmas cake Talia was qt

The sixth one I think is a bit underrated. It pulled some of its emotional punches for some reason though, especially by deleting this scene.

yea watching Balboa and missing Adrian then watching Creed and missing both Paulie and Adrian is sorta a gut punch

Creed was one of those movie where my expectations were delightfully exceeded. Its weird that despite this, my expectations for Creed 2 are low.

Rocky 1 and Rocky Balboa are the only movies in the series that matter.

The rest were entertaining. But none of them had actual meaning.

Yeah, but everything was cheaper back then so that wasted money could have bought something more worthwhile, not to mention the couple hours of my life I'll never get back. It's the opportunity cost, not just the dollars, user.

Although the next Stallone movie I saw in the theater was Cliffhanger, so I guess it evened out. That was fun.

It's not that contrived. You hear about sports stars losing all their money all the time and Rocky was never supposed to be a smart character. The movie still sucks though.

First Rocky is a genuine masterpiece.

2 and 3 are completely unnecessary but fun.

4 is so bad it's good (but not actually "bad"). It's pure cold war 'murrrrica 80's cheese. Trumpian.

5 was shit. Balboa was the only sequel that felt like it mattered and was a nice send off for the series.

I didn't dislike Creed. It was just...there. Felt pretty flat/emotionless/unimportant.
