Leatherman died!?

Yeah, it was terrible when he left and then Conan moved into his slot, then they undercut him by having him host a show leading into the show he use to host? Total dick-move.

Yes but you probably don't fully understand how.

The real reason Ferguson quit is because Letterman OWNED 2 hours on CBS. not figuratively. When they signed Letterman CBS gave him another hour for him to make a second late show. That's why Ferguson got away with so much, because he was essentially untouchable by CBS.

When Dave left, Craig had to renegotiate and probably was offered the main job. But he did not want to be a corporate stooge pushing the network message. (See their two current late night hosts as an example)

how do you explain his new shitflix show? I watched half an hour of him interviewing Obama and it was like liberal superiority porn. made me feel alone and dead inside.

Never liked Letterman somehow, but he was still more bearable than most talk show hosts. If I had to give a ranking from best to worst:

1. Conan O’Brien
2. Stephen Colbert
3. Craig Ferguson
4. Jay Leno
5. David Letterman
6. James Corden
7. Jimmy Kimmel
8. Jimmy Fallon
9. Seth Meyers
10. Chris Hardwick

I like Chris Hardwick

He's not retired. He has a shitty show on Netflix now.

Only reason people watched late night shows was that there was nothing else to do on weeknights at 11pm

They all suck
