Innovative fight sequences

Film is overrated but this whole sequences is incredibly well done.
What are some fight scenes you saw that felt fresh, different or innovative the first time you saw them?

Thought I'd throw out another. When I saw this I expected every fight scene to be directed, choreographed and edited in a similar matter from then on.
So surprised it didn't happen and Bourne style stayed strong.

that was too real for most movie goers?

>We'll never get more movies in this world because Nolan has complete creative control over the franchise and he's done with it

FFFFFFFFF

That's not innovative. It was stolen from Satoshi Kon's Paprika

Perhaps. That's really what makes it work though. It's far more visceral and exciting than virtually anything I've seen in the last decade or so.
I suppose no one wants a fight scene where the guy is going to be hospitalised after, like any serious fight from real life.
Shame.

If you watch Jackie Chan's earlier films, they were certainly different compared to his contemporaries.

That scene didn't have a fight

have you seen The raid? p good fight scenes
