Storytime

Today we story time "The courageous Captain America" by little golden books.

Coincidently it's the 4th of july!!!

And yes I did take these pics in the store.

There is a twist at the end so stay tuned!

why didn't you just buy the book

...

Didn't want it.

Kinda interesting that they left out the adamantium/vibranium aspect of his shield. Too much details for the kids huh?

>vita-rays

I guess drugs was a bad message to the kids huh.

So don't do drugs but get radiated insted.

...

And that's it. Thoughts? Changed his origin story and apparently has a real secret identity.

Outside of changing the Super Soldier serum to "Vita-Rays", I'm not sure I'd say his origin was really changed. This really did just seem like an overly simplified summary of his origin for children. Pretty harmless, and Cap even has his classic look rather than the more MCU inspired look he has in recent comics. So... I can't really complain.

Vita-rays have always been a part of the supersoldier process for decades.

bump for justice

Then a cosmic cube turned Steve into a fascist and now rules America with an iron fist...

The Punisher and Thor too, just so he wouldn't be lonely

Hum they must skim over that part a lot

Pretty sure Vita-Rays was in the movies.

Also Vita-Rays are important because Burnside (1950's Cap) got the super soldier seruk minus the Vita-Rays and it made him go crazy.
