It's official, Gamora is a man now

>Gamora, the deadliest woman? in the galaxy.

>You're worried about Gamora's physique and aren't more pissed about the glaring movie pandering abomination that is (Baby) Groot.

Mainstream audiences were a mistake.

>No bare breasts
>Must be a man.

Stay thirsty Sup Forums.

>I don't understand how women or men's bodies work.

It's not just her breasts, it's the broadness of her shoulder and chest in relation to her hips. Women have much wider hips than men, and generally they line up with their shoulders, which are much less broad. It's part of their bone structure. They have drawn her with a male's physique. It has nothing to do with her boobs, dumbass.

I'm not usually one to complain about things like this. I actually liked her more recent costume and I dig Carol's current outfit. But this image is undeniably manish and the person that drew it doesn't know how to draw a woman, unless they did it on purpose.

Stop pretending this is about some sort of anatomy issue and just admit you're angry that there are fewer characters to masturbate to.
Which there aren't, you're just WEAK.

Man, Marvel is just hiring any trash to do their comics these days. Art on the right is webcomic tier shit.

Nice meme, bud. I'm actually trying to have an engaged discussion about how a character is being drawn with horrible, mannish proportions and your only response is incoherent "LOL UR JUST MAD YOU CAN'T FAP TO HER HURRRRRR".

God, I fucking hate Summer. When do you go back to school?

He looks like steven segal

If everyone is a man no one is a woman. Why do woman want to look like men?

I think the artist is good, isn't his/her fault... it's Marvel fault because they want a less sexualized Gamora and you know how are feminist now with the "unreal bodies"

Even if the left body is sexualized I think it makes more sense with Gamora... she isn't She-Hulk, she's a character that prioritizes agility and speed, her new costume and body design doesn't makes a lot of sense and to be honest makes her more generic.

...

Pic related is my favorite costume.

Feminist... they want artists to draw all body types now, the same people who boycotted Wonder Woman as UN ambassador because her body "wasn't realistic" want Gamora to look like a hammer thrower for some reason.

>Women have much wider hips than men, and generally they line up with their shoulders, which are much less broad. It's part of their bone structure.

>the absolute state of Marvel

So like nearly every other Marvel woman.

Confirmed for no tits

Why is Wonder Woman green and why is she wearing that outfit?

Both examples are ugly.

She's black after all. Average black female is stronger than average white male.

forgot the Shocker. you dead white boi you the Shocker now black man.

...

>Groot
cancer created for normies

>le pol defense
Everytime.

Seriously, how the fuck is anyone supposed to take some 12 year old looking Indian kid seriously as a bully?

She's buff
You can look at pics of female athletes, their muscles tend to give them a V torso shape rather than hourglass figure
Makes sense for a fighter

She's a woman (male).

>Makes sense for a fighter
And? This is comics. EVERYONE who can fight does so easily, regardless of muscle mass. Stop applying logic to comics.

It's a coincidence that you posted this once that thread came up and in a thread that had nothing to do with that.

At least keep that shit in the Homecoming thread.

That argument doesn't work if your talking about an alien female tho.

user have you ever seen a real woman in your life?

You literally proved my point.

>le she's an alien xD

Fuck off, she's been drawn with human proportions for going on 40 years. And she's not a super out there alien, she's basically a human woman with bodypaint.

Some women have broad shoulders and most have barely any hips/waist. Fridge bodies are basically an epidemic.

Stop getting your idea of what the female body looks like through cartoons, they've tainted your perception of reality.

>reality
>comic books
See

>talks about how women's bodies are meant to be a certain way
>I-I meant comic book women's bodies bro!!

Hey, you need a stronger build to pull off the shit she does. Maybe Gamora has the ability to over time physically adapt greater strength down to the bone and tendon level, unlike regular humans, who can only put on muscle.

Not an argument. Comics have always portrayed idealized bodies and idealized people. Your realism meme is just that: a meme.

He's not a bully, he's a smug asshole with lots of money.

I'm not an idiot, dude. Of course some women have broader chests/shoulders. Some women are pear shaped. Some women are triangles. Some women are hourglasses. But very, very rarely are they ever that drastically masculine in their body structure, especially focused around the shoulder and chest area. Women are physiologically designed to have a stronger and more muscled lower body than their upper body. Proportionally, they are structured that way. Fuck, even the image you used doesn't have shoulders or a chest that is even close to as broad as that Gamora drawing. Don't be purposefully ignorant. Women, in general, do not have body types like that Gamora drawing. That is a straight up male body shape. Not that you probably care, but I have a degree in costume design and I can tell you that a costume tailored that way wouldn't fit most female body types.

The issue is not "lol it's not an hourglass it's not a woman xD" the issue is that women can have broad shoulders, but they're rarely if ever *that* broad. I've tailored uniforms for female college gymnasts and I can tell you right now I have never encountered a woman with shoulders that broad that wasn't a transexual, and I *have* tailored stuff for transexual women. Some of the girls I've worked with are pure muscle.

Of course there are different body types among women. And I'm not saying that women like that *never* exist, but women with drastically masculine body types like that are not the norm, and changing a character that's been drawn a certain way for almost 40 years to something so drastically different and abnormally masculine is just stupid and in poor taste.

>barely any hips/waist
What fucking tranny wasteland do you live in? Everywhere I go there are plenty of women with good hips, women having hips are not a damn cartoon, it's reality, not having such women is the cartoon world.
The same reason why men have broad shoulders in super hero comics is the same reason women should have hips, it's a better representation and ideal of what they are.
Only ideologically driven people seek to minimize the femininity of a female character and it's transparent.

>Everywhere I go there are plenty of women with good hips,

Shit skin pls go

He could be Brazilian you know.

its not horrible, just not emphasized. I'm more mad about the eye things, hate em

Shocker has been black for a while. Homecoming wasn't the first to do this. Hell, if anything they did it accurately by making him a white man and then changing him to a black man.

>love Vin Diesel as Groot
>see that sequel features baby groot
>even if Vin is voicing him (not sure) it's not the same
>just want normal Groot back
>now because of SYNERGY he'll remain a baby in the comics too until next movie installment where they'll do some awkward teenage Groot or some stupid shit

>I can't identify a woman as a woman unless she's almost naked

Sounds like you've got some serious brain deficiencies, OP.

I'm pretty sure dykes and tumblr posers buy comics every single month.
The top sales are fake news.

>implying it has anything to do with how much skin is showing as opposed to body proportions
Don't forget how they overship count those as sold.

>female character looks like she lifts
>this is somehow a bad thing
Wait, what?

Logic is what keeps stories consistent

>gay
>gay and pedo
>good point
>gay and will reply a couple more times
>one of the best posts so far
>the artist trying to defend his lazy work
>another good example of good post
>gay, pedo and addicted to sissy IR porn, posting multiple times (hello Joss)
>average gay pedo retard with the cliché comment
>dyke, barelly buy comics
>gay, pedo and furfag also he is transitioning

Stop posting fucking Campbell as an example of good art, and especially good female art. He literally can only draw one bodytype and it's that plastic-looking shit on the left (not that right isn't shit of course)

Now this is a man of taste

Why do the GotG movies downplay her yellow eye things? I think those look cool but in the movies you can barely tell they're there.

Shitty art happens.

All these faggots ITT. Heroes are the top of the chain ideal impossible bodies of strength and beauty. You want real get a mirror. That's why they are 7 heads tall and not five.

>I've never read a comic in my life.

This is a fictional character, user.

It's particularly annoying as they shave her eyebrows, which draws attention to Saldana's giant forehead.

wew

>You want real get a mirror. That's why they are 7 heads tall and not five.
are you fucking Danny Devito?

Why didn't they give Star Lord his full helmet, even though it was in the concept art? The world may never know, user.

you go on Sup Forums too? i thought you just stayed on Sup Forums.

Hello Robert
Tell to the board more about your cd folders, furr and farts fetish.

>from one extreme to another
I honestly don't mind this. But then again, I was never one to masturbate to comic characters, especially not ones who look as liefeldian as lefty there.

I do miss her "goth seductress" look but she was retooled to be like the movies where she's a more standard alien adventurer.

I miss that costume as well.
One of the best Marvel designs so far.
Also Pip the troll jokes are superior to any groot and rocket raccoon hipster giggle.

That image is about as far removed from OP's examples as they are from each other.
It's almost as if this character has already gone through extensive visual tweaks in the past and people are just mad that their boobies got taken away.

To be fair the man design is pretty shit compared to both. But pretty much every new Gamora design is shit. But im sure youll defend it because at least it's not too sexy.

It would make a nice change turning a female character over to a male for once.

The current costume from All-New Guardians of the Galaxy is at least simple. For a while she had overly designed Mass Effect armor.

Might be just on her period.

I think the first one's pretty cool in a 70's throwback kind of way. I wouldn't mind seeing an updated version with a bit more variety in the bodysuit. OP's example on the left is pure cheese though. Nothing about that says "character" so much as "eye candy." The newest one looks more in line with the move version than any of the others, and I assume that's what the comic is going for, so I can't really fault it on anything.

This and when she had short hair are my fav looks for Gamora.

Gunn wanted to make him look more relaxed and friendly and less like Iron Man.

Then Andy Park keeps going how it made him look scary.

He should get the helmet once he becomes more of a badass and grows up a bit more.

What's her superpower again? Being kree?

And with short hair

The person who started this thread is a jackass, and the rest of you are idiots for engaging or agreeing.

So by engaging this thread, your an idiot as well?

Me too!

Not really it's completely different. Even the movie costume shows more skin. This just looks like they dusted off Titanias failed revamp for some reason.

Honey. It's one picture from a guest spot in another series. Luckily for your argument it's the largest, most body exposed image of her from the comic.

>,but they're rarely if ever *that* broad.

They're Shoulderpads you ding dong. Her hips are a little thin but it's just that one image.

Man, I don't like current Marvel, but I do hate people who think that there should exist only one art style or physique in comics.

To be fair it's capeshit and prexisting characters. Liz was never nor expected to be a bombshell.

F

She's been dead for a while Jim.

This reminds me of the shitty Titania redesign.

ALL NEW! ALL DIFFERENT!

I just don't see why they casted one of the hottest girls in Marvel as a flat chested frumpy black girl.

I'm guessing they're going to rip off the Breakfast Club moment where she gets a makeover because she's tired of being an edgy attentionwhore and just wants the dick.
Though Alison was actually cute in her edgy mode

Wish I could TURN BACK TIIIIIME
To the GOOD OLD DAAAAAYS

Campbell's "art" is garbage though

good, good, I'm sure this is the way to go to fix their sales!

Lel I cant believe there are actually people in this thread defending that art. Are all of you so ravenous to appear to be politically correct that you will just ignore atrocious art?

Women have tits, get over it. It's not something to hide and be ashamed of.

I'll never get why these 'artists' draw the women with no tits and no ass but also barely give them any muscle to compensate. I mean, at least they'd have an excuse if they always made them athletic

>it's the broadness of her shoulder and chest in relation to her hips.
S H O U L D E R P A D S

Seriously dude, sketch a skeleton on top of both images, and check the shoulders. Roughly similar.

>Waah! In space they didn't have boob armor plates!

>all these KEKS itt defending this
hahahahhaha Marvel is fucking cancer lads. Seriously this guy gets it.

Hey I never said that, sure some characters are specifically made to be unideal because it makes sense for the character given their story but having female heroes that are known and made a certain way and being redesigned into this androgynous look where the intent is to remove femininity and to multiple of them?
Yeah that's bull.

I don't really mind that she doesn't wear the Battle Thong anymore, I just wish they'd put her in something interesting instead of all of these boring padded suits. Hell, I'd even take one of her MCU outfits over what she's in now.
