I hope it doesn't.
The further Scott Buck is from any show I could potentially enjoy or even care about, the better it is.

>>This is Auran

They got no budget.

should've been a movie

This. If you can't do it on a TV budget, then don't do it! Why did it need to be pushed as a TV project so soon? It's not going to work, and Marvel's doing pretty fine with out the X-Men so far.

Because Feige doesn't give a fuck about the Shithumans, just like any goddamn sane person.

But they probably would have done Inhumans eventually. The Marvel films are kind of quickly using up every facet of Marvel comics. With 3 movies a year from now on, they'll blow through so much shit.

The MCU made hit movies out of characters that normies had never even heard of, like Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange and Ant-Man. There's no reason the Inhumans would have been any different.

Even if every salty X-Men reader refused to see it, that's less than 100,000 people. It would have no effect.

Feige is fully committed to making a Captain Marvel movie with Carol Danvers, should he be backing out of that because her comics don't sell and no-one likes her?

Inhumans could have been a movie, it could have been good, but now we'll never know.

>normies on a podcast talk about this show
>the first thing they talk about is Ike Perlmutter's rights war with Kevin Feige

It's like everyone knows the terrible origins of this tv show

The thing that bothers me is how these films aren't seen as films, but just business ventures at every turn. It's really tedious.

I thought they pushed it to be a TV show because agents of shield already ruined inhumans for everyone forever

It can't flop if the budget is near zero.

Is she pre-terrigenesis? Same about Medusa.

It's on Friday nights so it's not like they need high ratings to survive so it won't flop. I am thinking it will be average.

When are we getting the cuck blowjob

>Marvel
It'll break even on cinema sales alone.

ike the kike

It's a miniseries not a movie unless they're doing some kind of 1 day only theaters shit it won't ever see cinema money.

it also doesn't need ratings since its a miniseries

>be a team of outlandishly costumed aliens in a kingdom on the moon
>get adapted to live action
>become a team of ordinary fashion models in a game of thrones ripoff

They're doing the first two episodes being shown in IMAX

>The MCU made hit movies out of characters that normies had never even heard of, like Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange and Ant-Man.
The MCU made comedies that normies found funny. The characters they introduced to the major population of moviegoers have no lasting value besides that.

You make it seem like Marvel Studios created these massive success stories out of unknown characters. But all they did was make the same standard popcorn flick by different names. At the end of the day, no one cares about these characters.

Go ahead. Ask anyone who watched Ant-Man what his civilian name is.

Their Inhumans will probably be regarded as better quality than this series

Sad!

>ABC
>friday nights
f

>goddamn sane person.
>giving a shit about Mutie scum

>Go ahead. Ask anyone who watched Ant-Man what his civilian name is.
Scott Lang.

>Scott Buck
F

That's not what he said. He just said that the Inhumans are not worth wasting movies on

>Go ahead. Ask anyone who watched Ant-Man what his civilian name is.

I did and they all said Scott Lang.

I guess you don't interact with the real world on a regular basis.

Feige likely doesn't want to do the Inhumans not because he dislikes the characters, but more because he knows it's a project that Ike has been pushing for to stick it to Fox. Once Ike got removed from overseeing the movie division then Inhumans got deprioritized until it got changed into being a TV series project instead (Ike still oversees TV) with the pilot being shown in IMAX.

>auran the following scene

Inhumans are such a flop that Marvel doesn't even use their names to sell a book anymore.

Sup, Kike.

The difference is the Guardians and Doctor Strange and Ant-Man are all relatively beloved comic characters with at least some following and fans, even if they aren't normies

I don't think anyone like the Inhumans outside of Kamala

>You make it seem like Marvel Studios created these massive success stories out of unknown characters.
you make it seem like they didn't

>you make it seem like they didn't
Like I said, they made funny movies people laughed at. One and done deals. It's not the same thing as making these characters into icons, which is what I meant by "success stories". Yes, they succeeded in making lots of money, but no one gives a fuck about Dr Strange and Ant-Man

or Iron Man, or Thor, or Loki-
oh wait

>no budget
>shot on IMAX

who OKed this?

Sometimes shows that get shit on before they air are good. Sometime shows that get praised before they air are shit. We won't know until it actually airs if it will be good or not.

Hey fuck you, I am very interested in Ant-man and I want his family to do well!

Also you cherrypicked the only true non-Avengers in the entire series of films besides Black Panther and Spiderman.

But Inhumans awfulness is a constant.

>Rocket
>Groot

They are now two of the most popular comic heros

They are not.

Groot's minis sell like shit and Rocket has to be relaunched every 6 issues to sell cancellation numbers. Hos is this popular?

It just looks soooo fucking cheep
And I love the Inhumans. I'm like the only fucking person who actually really fucking likes them and this is what I get
Fuck me

they exist outside of comics now, genius, besides the most successful comics only sell 100,000 copies, you can't use them as a measurement of popularity

normies don't buy comics you fucktard.

>besides the most successful comics only sell 100,000 copies
Except for Groot and Rocket, who despite being SO POPULAR can't even sell 20,000.

>I got nothing, but I'mma post anyway

>These two comic characters are absolutely popular if you don't count how unpopular their comics are.

COMICS DON'T MAKE MONEY! You know what makes Marvel money? Spider-Man MERCH. Not comics, not even movies make nearly that much, it's ALL in merch money. I wouldn't be surprised if Rocket and Groot now make as much in merch as Iron Man

>postan on mah 4chamz!

I'm one of the few inhumans fans on Sup Forums, and even I think it looks like trash. I really HOPE it's good, but nothing they've shown has given me even a tiny bit of hope.

More people like the Inhumans than like Carol Danvers, but that's not stopping Feige from making a movie about her.

>THEIR COMIC SALES ARE THE ONLY THING THAT MATTER GUYS

I guess was right when your post is basically
>I got nothing, but I'mma post anyway

Post their sales OUTSIDE of comics, then.

SAD!

>>shot on IMAX
IMAX is almost meaningless these days. They sold out back in 2009 when they pushed for the "imax theatre experience" with 2K digital projectors on a slightly larger screen

merch sales numbers aren't released as to which character makes more but Disney made 40.9 billion on merch sales last year. Comic sales, including graphic novels through book chains and online sales, in US and Canada made 1 billion.

comichron.com/yearlycomicssales/industrywide/2016-industrywide.html

Then the numbers that show how popular Groot and Rocket are aren't available, but the numbers that show how they don't sell are?

Huh...

>I did and they all said Scott Lang.
Nah they didn't.

that's how the industry works. I don't make the rules on how profit margins are released. They sell a lot of toys and t-shirts and other things

Kill yourselves desu

Then you have no ground to say that they are popular.

I though that was a teen titans porn parody at first.

How did Sup Forums and Sup Forums react to the raceswaps on the left there?

>The difference is the Guardians and Doctor Strange and Ant-Man are all relatively beloved comic characters with at least some following and fans, even if they aren't normies

Until the current series was launched, in advance of the movie, Doctor Strange hadn't carried an ongoing book since the mid-1990s, because he didn't sell. The Scott Lang version of Ant-Man never even had his own book until the movie.

They may have a small, loyal fanbase, but in comparable numbers to what the Inhumans had before Ike's push backfired. And how popular the characters are with comics readers has never had any impact at all on whether the movies succeed. Normies don't read comics, they don't know which characters are popular or which ones 'matter', and they don't care.

Fridays is where you send shows to die.

>they skimped on prosthetics and put a black dude in a rug, lame
>the martial artist must be Asian, lame

It's got roughly a $10 million per episode budget and was filmed with IMAX cameras.

How the fuck they managed to make it look so shitty with so much money?

Buck
