Yes. It varies wildly from scene to scene.
That's right, Jay.
Well, I liked it a lot.
even a broken clock is right twice a day
Oh I liked it too Mike!
>well it wasn't teeeeerrrible
Well, you know on second thought this movie does have some great parts to it.
It was still fucking good.
Dixon is a cop Id trust to my town.
>Well I didn't HATE it...
Idk if it's tonal but it fails to connect.
I watched like 10 minutes of it, got really bored, hid the window with it, and I only remember it now because of this thread.
I also laughed at this awkward fucking scene with Woody when he goes "We got war on our hands"
You were supposed to laugh at almost every scene. The movie was fucking hilarious. It really is kino.
It was made that way on purpose to exaggerate the emotional roller coaster she was going through and how it affected the whole town. Muh vagioli.
it wasn't funny at all, it was an embarrassing mess
jay bauman, failed film-maker.
Now you get it user. Now laugh at the characters expense and funny one liners.
Eh. I wouldn't say its nightmarish, but it struggled with that definitely. If the script sucked it would be unforgivable, but nah.
>I liked the parts where they mentioned black lives matter a strong woman was being strong, but once you were supposed to feel sad for some white guys, I just tuned out
Red Sparrow is a far better film.
Ebbing :DDD
No.
I honestly can't see how people think there was a problem with the tone in the film. It hits the humor moments, and it hits the dark moments. It would be a problem if it wasn't either.
Why do people need only one tone in a film nowadays? Its either humorous or dark. Real life has some really fucking dark shit, and some funny moments too.
the one liners weren't funny, they were obnoxious.
Is Bauman a Jewish name? Asking for a friend
Nothing new, Jay is still a faggot.
>You guys are gonna hate me for this, butttt
never
Explain this.
german
he is an uncloseted raging SJW faggot
it explains itself
>pop culture reference combo shirts
I can't think of any clearer yet more socially acceptable way to communicate that you should be avoided.

He's not wrong, the tone was all over the place especially with Sam Rockwell's character.
People pay money to watch this shit?
Jay is only 5'6"
>5'6
that nigga is legit 5'2
I don't believe it. He doesn't look *that* short
Jay Bauman? Is that you?
Jay, I can't and won't make this any simpler for you.
You failed at life. You failed. When one thinks of what man is capable of, pushing himself to the limits physically, mentally and emotionally to achieve heights of success never before mentioned, your name will not be whispered in the same, reverent fashion that others have.
Nobody will remember Jay Bauman. You aren't even a header or a footer in the career of someone else. You are nobody. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.
In short, you are an enormous failure.
Jay, being that you're about 30 years old and your brain has probably hard-wired itself to accept such failures by now and write off such criticism by being "flippant", really suggests that you've passed beyond the proverbial breaking-point. There's no turning back. This is your career, this is what defines you and this is what you'll defend to the end.
The abhorrent failure that is Red Letter Media, Jay Bauman, that is your legacy.
Maybe I'm over-reaching, however. Who knows? People CAN change. Maybe you'll read this, Jay, and think long and hard about what a wasteful life you've led. Maybe you'll think, "wow. It's incredible just how abysmal and pathetic I really AM!" Maybe you'll lift some weights in the morning. Maybe you'll take a self-help class.
Maybe in a couple of years, Jay, you'll have learned from this failure. I doubt it, though.
I genuinely doubt it.
