Even if Hillary was a saint, Trump would still be the better choice.
With his victory, a huge wave of rebellion will run across Europe (it actually already started with Brexit). It will be a huge wake up call.
After that, France will finally grow enough balls to vote for Marine in 2017. Further similar elections will follow in the neighbor countries. Merkel will get kicked out. Etc.

I don't think that Hillary destroying the country would have much influence over Europe, nor that it would become independent because of that. She'd simply be replaced by the next pawn waiting in line, and in the meantime, Europe would carry the project on alone.

As to Europe being "dependant": 70% of our trade is internal, we're quite a lot less dependant on you than you are on us when it comes to economy.
And even your best are starting to realise that the reason you can safely retreat from Europe is not that you have made peace, but rather that there is currently no power in position to dominate the continent, even Russia and Germany, prime candidates for dominance, are too weak.
The U.S. could continue to attempt to court these countries, or seek to expand/maintain the pretense of its influence and importance by "solving" problems they make themselves but that's rather costly and currently chanceless.
