But yeah, don't take courses about this kinda shit. It's all about peeps going from the outside and looking in with preconcieved notions about the culture surrounding them and the impact of material on those in it. Like I have to take a modern culture course and they actually talked about Sup Forums trying to figure out the Las Vegas shooter and spreading misinformation as if they were the bad guys, but if you actually went there, it was just like, 18 Sam Hyde threads.

At most it could be taken as one of the 'turning points' into the current era of comics, but the comics 'ages' system is pretty broken for relying on individual works as singular milestones and still sticking to the idea of a dark/iron age which hasn't ended or ended at arbitrary point.
