I just want them to bring back Lugnut. That's it. In a new cartoon, or in the comics, I don't care. As a CHARACTER, I should add, not as a cameo or easter egg.

What was it for you that got to you?

For me it was

I would have wanted both to get far more air time. Especially Team Athenia. It might have been cool to see them have adventures on Cybertron or in deep space, running parallel to Team Prime's adventures.

Production art says his spark survived. Creator on his twitter goes "Guess he died in that incinerator off screen!" Guys making follow up comics go "nuh uh! He totally survived! Look, I drew Cliffjumper with the cube in the background!" But it's all fucking moot because absolutely nothing, in the confines of the actual animated series, proves or disproves his actual survival or death.

Yeah, he slapped himself with the emblem because Megatron spoke to him once, but not once did he ever hook up with any of the rest of the Decepticons, or even learn what a Decepticon even really was. Shit, does he even know Cybertron exists?

I remember the very first threads before it aired. A lot of people hated the look and called it CHINS the show

I miss the general feel of threads having to do with transformers at the time. They felt more cozy

Really? The show has one of my favorite artstyles, and is probably my favorite transformers series

It was a different time

The cartoons were good
The comics were good
The toys were good
We were all content

And then the cartoons decided they didn't need to be good to still appeal to kids

and the comics just went to shit...I don't even know how to put it words what happened.

And toys...are sometimes still good

Its not that farfetched. Look how radically different it looks compared to previous robot shows. Of course people flipped their shit. That and Bayformers having JUST come out earlier that year created a perfect shitstorm and geewunner whining

Animated is my favorite Transformers show as well, but I STILL say it has a shitty art style. But then, I hate everything Derrick Wyatt designs anyway.

But I wanted him to actually meet up with Megatron, Lugnut and Blitzwing, join the team, and actually be taught that being a Decepticon isn't just "robots>humans", and that there was a planet ruled by robots that he could go to.

It would have been neat. Especially if he couldn't come to terms with Megatron actually wanting to DESTROY the Autobots (since Soundwave himself wanted to convince them that he was right, with the brainwashing and whatnot).

There could have been a great plot line there.

Oh god, I agree with you on that one. TFCC said they were gonna have a huge part in the show and it pissed me off that was the only major scene they had in the show.

It hurts more with Titan Returns that Judd Nelson's Rodimus sounds like shit now, in TFA he sounded great and he only had 30 seconds of dialogue.

Blurr came back, I like to believe this would be canon if Season 4 ever did happen because it's too funny not too. Derrick J. Wyatt was involved with this so, it's basically canon.

Probably not, but in Season 4 he would've joined the cast.

The con crew were wildly disorganized. Blackarachnia being with Megatron's goons was pointless because she immediately bails, has the same episode three times, and dies.

I liked Animated, I really liked a Cybertron where the Autobots won for once, but they bet too many chips on that season 4 to tie shit up.

I agree, the lack of a cohesive organized Decepticon crew was a bit annoying.

yeah Blackarachnia being part of the first episode is pointless and she never interacted with any of the other cons in the entire series. Might as well should've been introduced in Along Came A Spider.

i like that we had a Cybertron that the Autobots won and was an actually society.

I'm doing something simmiliar to that in my continuity except Cybertron got fucked up but the Autobots and Decepticon set their sights on other colony worlds, like the Autobots new homeworld is as refugees on Caminus which is now basically Space Japan, kinda like something out of Blade Runner. Decepticons get Charr of course.

It was actually pretty, lame but then again the only transformers I actually liked was transformers prime

That the Decepticons lost because they lacked cohesion, and that if they ever TRULY got their shit together, they'd have curbstomped the Autobots?

Not really, the show never ever got close to remotely touching on those subjects beyond "the cons lost because we threw the allspark away, okay this season its because of space bridges, and this season its because of omega supreme".

TFA never really got into any of that stuff. We didn't even know why the war started before the Almanacs came out to do world building the show was too busy to do on it's own.

Some Sup Forums user ordered me the Megatron fun a London Argos because the show was ending and they were all sold out.

The optimus axe is from a different model, but a guy from /toy/ sent me his spare.

I just fucking want to know what was up with Sari. Anything else is just fluff, but Sari's existence is one of the biggest overhanging mysteries of the show. It's fucking infuriating when people act like you're an obsessive trivia nerd for wanting the answer to that one fucking question and not being happy with "lol there's a protoform from nowhere, draw your own conclusions!"

Japan not picking up the series like they did best wars.

They did dub the show in Japan though.

The whole show in fact, it’s the. Last TFshow to have the whole thing dubbed in Japanese.

Beast Hunters and RID Season 3 were not dubbed.

RID/Adventure season 3 is on the Animax schedule for 2018, so they'll at least finish that one.

And the Japanese dub of Animated sucked. They chopped out 3 minutes from every episode to make room for a corner program segment at the end and let the voice actors adlib so much the series became a self-parody.

It’s a shame they did with Animated and all dubs but the casting was great as was the OP and ED themes.

Norio Wakamoto as Megatron was awesome as was Hiroki Takahashi, Daisuke Kishio, Cho, Banjo Ginja, Nobuo Tobita and Akio Otsuka respectively.

The RID dub has been pretty good so far. It's still jokier than the English version, but toned down a ton so it doesn't feel like a parody. And they haven't been cutting the episodes for time, either.

Only problem with it is that they recast all the returning Prime characters with new actors, some of which don't sound a think like their Prime counterparts.

I don’t like Sideswipe or Grimlocks VA’s. They sound ill fitting to me.

I think Kazuya Nakai should’ve done Grimlock, he reminds me of Khary Payton.

Sideswipe, any of the young up and coming male seiyuus, his voice is surprisingly deep.

In my rating, TFA rates above Beast Wars, but just by a tiny bit. Both are wonderfully character driven.
