Man this is great. Do him and Robin end up together next issue or what?

Busiek is just some good shit

Ah, so his Alfred is gay. Nice to have confirmation

What time period is this exactly?

Kurt Busiek is such a fag.

70s-80s

So it's all a split personality?

Ah, that makes sense about the modems then

it's Zod so it's cool

This page is awesome.
Sure the subtext is obvious, but that's only because of the way Leon did it, so great.

One nice thing: If this were a Bendis comic, you JUST know that Bruce's face in Panel 1 and 2 would be identical.
But not here. Leon actually changed his expression slightly.
Fucking A.

I like this a lot.
The thing about Superman is that, in most versions, he decided to become Superman quite late, post-college at least.
But Batman vowed to be batman when he was still a child. It's a kid's dream. And so here we see the naivety of it, the idea that you can accomplish good things by doing just slightly bad things.
And from now on, it's time for Bruce to be an adult at last.

>KRAKT
>that 4th panel

I'm pretty sure those guys are dead.

That's Stand Power.

I'm really liking this story. Though that ending felt a little abrupt. Oh well, guess I have next issue to look forward to

I wasn't expecting that twist.

>wearing red and green

>purple and green

I've haven't been following GL, but hasn't that been the case for years now?

this is too good

save us from Doomsday Clock, Kurt

what is this about

a kid gets a Batman Stand after his parents are murdered

is that the bat signal

its all going to come crashing down isn't it?

I've looked through the solicitation threads in the past but I had zero idea about this book, glad I'm not missing out on it and thanks for story timing it.

I have no clue where this is going next and that's exciting.

Called it in the last issue.

>Danvers

Hahah, eat a dick, Carl.

it wasn't particularly subtle

Not the page of the year. But a damn fine page.

I miss Adam West, you guys. ;_;

This is a good fucking comic.

Doomsday Clock isn't really bad, per se. At least it gave us the new character of the year in The Mime.

I'd like it more if it wasn't trying to ape Watchmen.

Or at least if it was aping Watchmen better.

Has marvel done something as kino as this?

My War Gone By and Born Again are pretty up there

is the first one a punisher story? And I meant the elseworld type stuff where the characters live in the real world.
