That's not how lossless works, you're further editing a HD rip of some Korean Hotel channel network. If anything it made it more lossy than it already is.

TV streams are more compressed than even a Blu-Ray, which in itself is not close to lossless anyways. If anything you will be only getting amzn-webrip tier quality at best.
He would need even more, considering Snyder's version would have footage replace Whedon's extensive reshoots footage and getting rid of many scenes, not be grafted on top of it.
Hes's just adding some promo material to the Whedon's cut and that's it.

Yes, you are right. The Korsub rip was VOD already compressed for viewing over IP. Then to edit the footage I had to change the container from MKV, to mp4. That process was lossless via VLC. Maybe that's what he meant.

I think idealistically with what I've already got, I can achieve 15-20+ minutes to the original run time. I'm hoping more leaks come available.

Media - Convert/save - Tick keep original video track, keep original audio track.
It's essentially lossless, the same as if you where to use ffmpeg to change containers. You aren't losing anything by changing extension.
