I got up to the big reveal that the ghost could interact with physical objects now and had hidden her vessel, but sort of lost interest and moved on to other books at that point.
I just have this suspicion that the rest of the story from that point is going to be predictable and boring.
Is it worth picking back up and finishing? Are there any other interesting developments or twists?
