Yes, Vect's VA is awesome. He's the same guy they use to voice the Emprah whenever they have him astral project.

Karstodes (the custodes that can't read and hates boy) and Khorne are both voiced by Haven Kendrick, who is a big fan of Mechwarrior Online and streams all the time.

He's hilarious. He will voice act a broad range of different voices while on the game VOIP calling commands to the other 11 players on his team. Well, that and his sound mixing ability is superb. He made a weapons / ambiance soundpack for the game that left the game Devs asking him for advice at the last mech*con.

I'm surprised at the quality of voice acting this series has.

Indeed, I’d say it’s better than what Games Workshop does. Take m.youtube.com/watch?v=6adES3Z0Qag for example and compare it to the official version. The deliveries here don’t sound as robotic as they do in the official version, and the voices they have for Ahriman and Magnus fit much better.

Well Boy is voiced by a girl, but I expect Boy is just a boy. Not that it likely matters, the Vox he's holding is probably more important than he is in the eyes of the Imperium.

Are there any particular laws/edicts/what have you about Astartes contact with the fairer sex? I know they're generally and genetically deprogrammed of interest in things like sex, but are there/have there been instances where trouble has arisen due to female contact? I know the Sisters of Battle have a bit of fluff and not so little smut about little boys.

I don't know about Magnus. His voice works in TTS series , because Magnus is a huge nerd. The trailer wanted to depict Magnus as a spooky magic daemon.

Yeah TTS Magnus sounded a little bit mundane, but I feel the official version went a bit overboard with that and just made him look like a generic Dark Lord BBEG, Instead of portraying as the arrogant, bitter, vindictive Lord of Sorcerers he is. Personally I feel like if they had just given Magnus his Daemonic reverb back that he had in his first appearance, and maybe lowered the Pitch a little to reflect his size, it would have been perfect.

It's almost exactly what I expected Gulliman to sound like.

IDK about you, but I always pictured Guilliman to sound like Mark Strong.

Most of the characters are very well acted (especially Russ, Draigo, Magnus, He'Stan, Custodians and, of course, Vulkan, who is best boy primarch friend), but the Absolutely Best Character, Acting and Everything Award goes to Rogal Dorn. Fucking hell, that guy has the absolutely perfect tone and delivery for every line of dialogue. His 'No.' should be recorded a hundred times and stored in vaults for future generations.

Grab some still images and move en about. He uses adobe to "animate" stuff mainly. Play around with stuff till it seems about right. Just look at his videos or others like it to get a sense of it all

I don't know what it is about this series, but it is one of the most watchable and enjoyable things on the entire internet. It's certainly the best thing about 40K.

That's because it isn't filled with edgy memeshit to pull in the twelve year olds, and it requires at least a surface-level understanding of the setting to get any enjoyment out of it.

Problem with this series is the jokes go on for too long.

Depends, honestly I don't mind since most of them are actually factual. It's my first exposure to 40k, more information is pretty neat. It's somehow more accurate than someone else reading what's on the wiki.

They are doing less exposition and more plot now.

The problem is they can be increadibly funny when done in short for. Great Horned Rat Day and Sly Marbo are amazing but each is like 3 minutes. They should stop trying to make 30 minute monstrosities and make more 5 minute videos.

Then again, being overly verbose is typical for all things 40k.
