I'm assuming in this scenario the scarab is within your control, like Blue Beetle. But then you have to remember that if you have a Green Lantern ring, you can't use it for personal gain

Scarab, definitely. Lantern has more versatility, but the scarab comes with an interactive instruction manual and digital assistant that can talk to you like a person. According to YJ
