Yeah, was hoping there were more to why this was all happening than it just being XANA getting stronger through resets/world-hops. Plus it just means there's a bunch of dead/missing Katies in all the worlds she took over. But stuff is okay now I guess because she's not a complete dick?

Personally I think the end kind of goes against everything else in the story.
K and Andrew clearly have some deep seated issues that they need to work out together, but K sends him off with a recommendation and somehow that just mends everything? Like we don't even touch how long she spent cheating on Max with him, and the fact that they're alternate timelines doesn't excuse it, they were still decisions that she made and remembers that are just swept under the rug. She pretty much used them both for an extended period of time and got away with it.
We spend the vast majority of the book going into how K and Max just don't work out together, and then in the end they somehow end up together anyway because I guess we need a perfect ending and that's gotta be it? It kind of comes off like she didn't learn anything from the entire experience.
