I recently read through both Ava's Demon and Kill Six Billion Demons, and for as long as I've seen them around on Sup Forums I figured that they'd both be farther along in their stories.
AD is certainly not what I expected from it, though.

New Year's holiday is generally a couple weeks in late December to early January, not all of December and January.
Also breaks are often taken in between chapters, not in the middle of one when the plot is actually progressing for a change.

Notice how when Ava looks at Odin he has a gash in his side? One theory I have seen in these threads is that Odin had the drawer of Pedri's original host surgically transferred to him. We don't really know much about Odin's backstory with his family and all that but it's probably something to that effect. The only other think I can think of happening is that he almost or temporarily died when he was 3 and became possessed then.

Continues to work unless they make a deal like Wrathia did. So Wrathia should have suffered at least one host death by now. Probably got impatient and wanted to be reborn in a species with a low maturation rate.

Every girl/woman experiences it differently. Some have monstrous cramps and no emotional changes. Some have no cramps but feel moody. It varies. IME only one girl in the family is a bitch on her period, the rest are fine but experience more in the way of physical symptoms. One tends to feel really tired, another has cold symptoms etc. The PMS monster isn't a reality for everyone.

The main problem stems from the artists lack of commitment in meeting their deadlines, there's really no way around it
