Toonami Ratings for 1/13/18

Space Dandy is replacing Lupin. Yea we are at the stage where premieres are replaced by reruns.

Adult Swim is funding two new 6 episode seasons of FLCL. Set for 2018.

Last week we returned to the normal schedule and the ratings were shit tier all the way through. This week they got even worse, oh well. The plummet will continue when Dandy starts.

10:30 Dragon Ball Super 904 0.37
11:00 Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters 761 0.34
11:30 Black Clover 609 0.29
12:00a Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders 508 0.21
12:30a Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans 455 0.19
1:00a Hunter X Hunter 460 0.22
1:30a Lupin the 3rd: Part 4 428 0.21
2:00a Naruto: Shippuden 430 0.21

>Were gonna be stuck with Black Clover for the rest of the year and then the first few weeks on 2019

at least Meme Clover is doing so bad the block won't live long enough to suffer through Jojo's Bizarre Memeventure Part 4

You say that now.

Any idea what the delayed new show was?

We might find out at the Q&A next Friday. Some people have found that ReZero has current legal issues and a dub awaiting scheduling

Well,I won't be able to eat eggs or oatmeal for a long time but otherwise I had a good toonami.

Why is DaVinci such a dick?

He's literally mewtwo.

I'm surprised HxH managed to beat IBO's numbers, since both have been without action for weeks. I really want to like HxH, but this current arc has been so slow to get started, so it might be a short lived win since IBO seems to be picking up with the awakening of the Mobile Armors.

>I won't be able to eat eggs or oatmeal for a long time

why not

Punished baby breakfast.

HxH almost always has excellent audience retention numbers, no matter what is going on in the episode, and this isn't the first time it's done better than the preceding show. I think there is a decent percentage of the Toonami audience that is genuinely invested in the series.

Difference here is Gundam will go back to yapping soon and the action will stop

Why is it when he left the block, the ratings start to flush down the toilet?

Shouldn't he be SAVING US by now?!

But user, how can he save us when he can't even save himself?!

>Lupin III gone
Oh well. At lease now I can just go to bed after HxH goes off.

I seriously don't understand why you people even bother keeping up with this. I honestly don't. The shitposting aspect of it lost its luster quite honestly years ago.

It's like coming back to an abusive household. You've been told not to go back, you know damn well it's not healthy for you, yet you keep doing it anyway. For what exactly? That the Grandmaster Jew Disaster known as Demarco will show you love with your favorite anime? There's no love though. There's only pain. And if it's taken y'all 4+ years and counting to realize this but still do nothing, there's no hope for you.

toonami will probably die before the summer and FLCL 2&3 will air on vanilla adultswim.

>ASA's back.

Did anyone else get a second toonami box?

Wrong. Just FLCL then anime is done. Toonami was born because ASA couldn't hack it

Will April 1st count for toonami this year? It's technically on a Sunday.

is this your first year watching Toonami or what?

Yes, this years prank will likely have a Toonami focus. Wouldn't surprise me if AS hijacks it to do something stupid and unfunny just because of how salty weebs get though

Hope it's perfect hair forever all night.

Interesting trend. Despite all of the thread naysaying, HxH has picked up an audience and on top of that, it's 4th best in the 18-49 demo.

Maybe switch IBO with HxH? That said, it looks like this is our new normal now. I expect a spike with Super since we're entering Goku Black this week, but we'll see.

Poor Jojo, being tied for worst demo show with the last show on the block. What a crazy time that we're in.

>new normal
>2 weeks ago we had 700k at like 2:30am
AS won't ignore this issue forever. The "new normal" clearly isn't acceptable

When do they rerun last weeks lineup? I missed this saturday

4 weeks from now on the AS stream.

Yup. My account still lists it as "unfulfilled" too.

shit

why is jojo's still airing it's a garbage show not worth the price of translating or airing

Hilarious that Naruto in filler hell still manages to get more viewers than Lupin.

All the most recent episodes are on Kissanime if you want an effortless option and don't care about 1080p quality

I get a laugh out of all the shit people here give other shows, but never give to Lupin. All this shit with DaVinci, Lupin being a Mary Sue keikaku man, Goemon cutting barrages of bullets with a sword, all that shit would be a laughingstock here if it was in another show. But Lupin gets to do all of that and is praised for it because muh nostalgia

>people say the ratings worries are doomsayers
>every week they get low
>midnight Jojo is pulling bad night 2:30am One Piece numbers
>OP was cancelled for its poor numbers at 2:30am
Admittedly, OP got 4 years to gets its act together. Toonami as a whole has only started to really fall apart in the past 8-9 months. How much longer will AS ignore this problem? It doesn't help that we had a marathon 2 weeks ago that showed the world that much better numbers are possible

Why was the thread so late?

I, for one, would really enjoy that.

MLK day delayed ratings for a day

One Piece wasn't cancelled because of ratings, the japs just demanded too much money for the next season and Toonami declined to pay.

All the shows are available on demand, along with some shows they're not airing anymore. But no Bebop for some reason.

The lineup to save Toonami
11pm -OG DragonBall
11:30pm -Kai
12&12:30am-Super (rerun@12, new @12:30)

Damn that sucks. I don't care about oatmeal, but I don't think I'd be able to live without eggs.

Starting at 10:30 is what kills me; I don't get home that early

Alright, what the fuck is this? Which one of you chucklefucks posted it?

Makes sense.

Never.

We can't die now.

They were right to do so since the ratings weren't worth the price.

Depends on whether or not Adult Swim decides to just make more room for more R&M reruns.

Not like that's better than what's currently happening.

Another week another thread

Good?

And this is last week, for reference:

>10:30 Dragon Ball Super 971 0.46
>11:00 Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters 869 0.40
>11:30 Black Clover 642 0.31
>12:00a Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders 530 0.27
>12:30a Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans 462 0.23
>1:00a Hunter X Hunter 454 0.21
>1:30a Lupin the 3rd: Part 4 427 0.20
>2:00a Naruto: Shippuden 384 0.18
>2:30a Outlaw Star 386 0.17
>3:00a Cowboy Bebop (r) 407 0.19
>3:30a Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG (r) 401 0.19

Hey OP, how about just grabbing last week's numbers as well next time?

When will Toonami die? I WANT OFF.

>that drop from last week to this
How much longer do we have left? I want it all to end already. I want my Saturday nights back.

Hopefully it dies once FLCL S2 flops. FLCL S2 probably isn't coming until either Gundam ends or Jojo. My guess is it'll be announced for Summer or Fall seasonal anime and then it airs on Toonami of course.

I know I complained about this last week but I'm still mad Outlaw Star isn't going anywhere. I just want Melfina to steal the damn ship and go off on her own.

No, toonami was resurrected because an April Fools joke sparked a wave of demand.

Melfina is the ship.

...

The numbers have it! We're slowly driving into a fire.

I thought they were getting released as movies first?

>Lupin, Naruto, OS, and Bebop's ratings went up this week even though they are at the end of the block.

I missed you guys.

Demarco LITERALLY said it was because of ratings mostly

And because they were desperate for a solution to the ASA issue

No dying today!

Reminder that One Piece is the bestselling comic book of all time, WORLDWIDE!

>Meme Clover
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

>Naruto back to doing better than Lupin
All is right with the universe.

We don't know which is coming first.

FUCK

Shit taste is shit taste

Seems like 2nd seasons tend to do badly than the first.

Could it ever have been saved

How in the hell did the Ratings dip so badly?

>Gundman did worse than everything except Ghost in the Shell in the 18-49 demo

Demarco filling the block with dogshit no one wants to watch

Whos Toonami gathering party sounds more appealing:

Some stoner in texas in a bigass studio apartment with marijuana and chips
or some creep somewhere with a sexdoll brothel with toonami girl clothes
or someone who is pretending to be a normie in california in a house with snacks and candy

Toonami only has until 2019.

Stop encouraging these cancerous personalities

EVERYONE IN THE THREAD: Without naming any of them, count how many shows in the lineup you don't like.

5

3

Super is cancelled in Nipland. Toonami is finished. Time to pack up, everyone.

The more you fight them the stronger they are.

proof or it didnt happen

...

Shows, with few exceptions, don't get "cancelled" in Japan, and your own link says as much.

>the baby shit episodes of Jojo
only episodes I skipped

:30 Black Clover 642 0.31
:00a Hunter X Hunter 454 0.21
Flop X Flop

It's "ending", but you know what it means.

Toonami still would have like 2 years worth of episodes to air

Do the reruns count? It's not that I don't like them, it's just I don't waste sleep watching them for the billionth time. So next week that's 3 skips, and 4 don't likes

Sexdoll brothel. I have all the other stuff.

We still have like 2 years worth of episodes, not even dubbed.

Also Super cancelled, there can still be more dragonball. Like Dragonball Ultra. Where there are galaxy sized dragonballs hidden around the multiverse

Unlike the rest of the population, who seem to have skipped all the episodes

>April 1st
FAKE AS SHIT

>Naruto: Shippuden - December 7, 2024
