What is she, /swco/?

...

>Soon will I rest, yes, forever sleep. Earned it I have. Twilight is upon me, soon night must fall
fug

What was the point of this character

*clone wars newsreel voice*
>A fanbase divided!
>As the hiatus drags on, Star Wars fans around the galaxy bicker and meme about The Last Jedi!
>On the battlefields of Sup Forums, Sup Forumsourists clash with dickgirl-posters over the fate of the franchize!
>With no end to the shitposting in sight, all hopes now rest with Filoni, and the return of Rebels!
>The general holds its breath for a mid-season trailer - some sign that salvation is on the way!

The ending we all wanted and deserved.

#MotherAhsoka so it can be canon.

A foil for Finn.
Apparently it was originally going to be Finn and Poe going to Canto Bight, but Rian thought it needed a better dynamic, as Finn and Poe were on the same page and it needed some disagreement.
Now that her purpose of disagreeing with Finn is done and dusted, will she have a bigger or smaller role than Lando in RotJ?

Subverting Finn's role

ruining everything that Poe couldn't

If only Rian was a better director.

Stop with that forced meme

...

Now allowing Finn to sacrifice himself and have a character arc.

>side character helps main character develop
>hurduuuuuur this side character didn't do anything!
Jesus Christ, I really hate the type of people this website attracts.

...

the only real Rebels ship

It may be forced but it isn't a meme.
The entire movie was
>WOULDN'T IT BE COOL IF WE SET UP THIS REALLY INTERESTING THING - AND THEN DID THE OPPOSITE?
For every fucking second of a two and a half hour long movie, it was nothing but HAHA! GOTCHA! YOU THOUGHT I WAS GONNA DO THIS AWESOME THING WELL TOO BAD!
When you use foreshadowing this repeatedly only to ignore every implication you just foreshadowed, how can it be called anything other than subversion (and frankly, awful writing)?

anyone have that star wars 8 with out women. I haven't seen it but they say its 38 min long. it is?

>If only Rian was a better director, writer and casting director.

fixed.

*not

>That post
I have never seen honest to God genuine verifiable Internet Defense Force damage control shilling like that
holy shit

Would Anakin's problems have been solved if he had just fucked Ahsoka?

Honestly someone with DJ with all their cynicism and the Resistance/FO are the same spiel is a better foil for Finn who probably has a more black/white view like ours towards the conflict.

As opposed to "literally just the same as ANH" in TFA, even though it had similar scenes and images to ESB. And I didn't think it was made in a smug or snarky way to fuck with viewers.

Of all the problems I have with TLJ, that is definitely not one.

No because Anakin's problem was his personal demons from his slave upbringing and the death of his mother as well as his friendship with Palpatine..

>married man committing adultery with his underage protégé
>an end to his problems
Have you...ever even heard about the concept of women? Or are they just something you've read about in a biology textbook?

It's not shilling. It's calling out people for their stupidity.

WELL THEN YOU ARE LOST

Sooo she didn't do shit? Her act of ""saving"" Finn could've killed them both, and everyone else in the resistance if not for Luke showing up. Then, Finn had to drag her all the way back to the base, which he did in like a few minutes. Even though they were right by the walkers...
Not to mention her completely pointless casino sideplot with Finn, and her words to Finn before she kisses him completely contradict the sacrifices of everyone else in the movie, including her own damn sister

>And I didn't think it was made in a smug or snarky way to fuck with viewers.
Are you kidding? It was openly spiteful, literally telling the audience outright to stop caring about Star Wars.

>not futaSS/Ezra
Shit ship desu

...

This. We all know she marries Thrawn. He is the only person that understands what having a hard life is like.

He will give her a baby.

How does interbreeding work in Star Wars Sup Forums? I know it's probably possible given how fetishy Star Wars can get, but what are the genetics of it exactly?

But TLJ was ESB with RoTJ throne room thrown in. However it did those scenes far worse than the originals. At the very least you can argue that the TFA duel was better than the ANH duel and the escape from Not-Tatooine is better than its ANH counterpart.
Battle of Krait is far worse than Battle of Hoth
Canto Bright is worse than Bespin
Snoke throne room doesn't even come close to Sheev Throne room

Anakin's problems would have been solved if the jedi council was actually competent and took his problems seriously.

Sperm & The force find a way.

Except TLJ is essentially what if we remake ROTJ but except it goes pear shaped like ESB and we tag in Hoth at the end. An interesting premise if it was a standalone film.

But this is the middle of the trilogy where you have to elaborate on the stuff before (TFA) and set up for the finale (9). None of that shit happens.None of the characters undergo significant trials. They only backslide from the end of TFA to get back to where they were two years ago. The same for the OT character Luke. And Rey doesn't even change other than not even needing real training or face serious temptation to the darkside despite drawing her lightsaber in anger and letting the heat of the moment get to her.

Humans can interbreed with Twi'leks and Zabraks at least
Dunno about the rest but presumably if it has a human face, you can make a baby with it
old EU I think had it be that practically everything with a human face was simply an ancient evolutionary offshoot of humans, sort of like star trek

I doubt humans can breed with Togruta. And I believe Filoni made a mistake when he shown humans breeding with Twi'leks.

>Thrawn kills Kanan just to get with Hera

What do you think about the "Kylo is Anakin done right" that some st fans keep saying? Do you agree?

Yep.

I'm pretty sure it was also stated in TCW that the Nightsisters and Nightbrothers of Dathomir were ancestors of human and zabrak colonists who interbred wasn't it?
Also there's whatever those red fags in the Princess Leia comic from 2015 were - half-Alderaanian hippies, half-mpreg baras

Kind of, but it would work more if movie Anakin was like his TCW self.

Only from the darkside POV that he had the skywalker power levels that the Emperor had wanted before Anakin took the lava bath.

>anything done right in the ST
>Kylo better written than Anakin

Noice.

I imagine so, considering they are humanoid enough to probably have the same simian or mamalian facilities to accomodate interbreeding. Hell, Miraluka and the Milarians could probably interbreed with humans as well given that.

It's just a matter of how far does genetic credence allow for this sort of intergalactic debauchery.

Did he? I will concede that Togrutas may be too genetically far to breed with humans, but why are those half twi'lek children in the clone wars impossible?

Humans and Zabraks are one thing. Twi'lek females don't even have ears nevermind part of your brain contained in head-tails. Human/Twi'lek hybrids breaks my suspension of belief.

You're just saying that because they have dicks.

Heck no. Anyone who say that literally understand nothing about Anakin and the complexity of his character.

I am a little lost here Sup Forums. I get it's funny to put futa dicks on alien chicks, but why is this meme so prominent? How did this futa invasion begin?

They want Anakin to be a literal manchild?

I agree with Miraluka and Mirilian as well. Pretty much any near human species should be able to breed with humans. But Twi'leks aren't near human and I feel they are too different.

>Implying he wasn't in the PT
This is why the wider star wars fandom laughs at you kids.

It wasn't a mistake.

The Clone who has human/Twi'lek children in TCW was not their biological father, as stated by Pablo. This is because Clones can't breed, but the kids WERE half human. This was likely to help kids understand they were his children, without having to add complexity by explaining that they're adopted.

So yes, humans and Twi'leks can breed, and humans can likely breed with most other humanoid aliens.

Bunch of idiots who no one in their right mind would agree with them.

It's the tails, isn't it?

It started with SSfags editing Pablo tweets to say LOLOL ITS CANON THAT SEVENTH SISTER HAS A PENIS XD
but then in the past couple months one or two hyper-autist newfag memers started shopping dicks and bulges onto every single star wars porn pic they could find and now literally cannot fucking stop posting about how any given female character has a penis whenever they're mentioned

I'd wager it's Thule-user sperging out after getting BTFO so hard when he revealed his idiot powerlevel that he actually unironically believed that Seventh Sister had a penis in Rebels

How was he a manchild in PT? Come on ST baby, explain to me.

Other than Anakin going from "What have I done?" to "I will do whatever you ask" in a matter of seconds, I appreciate that we got to see his descent into darkness over time. We didn't get that with Ben, and I don't know if we ever will. Also, as simplistic as Vader may have been, he will always be so much cooler than Kylo.

>Her act of ""saving"" Finn could've killed them both, and everyone else in the resistance if not for Luke showing up.
It might've killed them both but Finn wasn't going to save anyone and was most certainly going to die before even reaching the lazer. That hangar gate was going to be destroyed whether Finn reached it or not.
>Then, Finn had to drag her all the way back to the base, which he did in like a few minutes. Even though they were right by the walkers...
Watch the scene again, Finn wasn't anywhere near in range for the walkers and the entire time he was carrying Rose the walkers and Kylo Ren were too busy focused on Luke.
>Not to mention her completely pointless casino sideplot with Finn
Rose wouldn't be the type of hero her sister was that she idolized had it not been for that side plot. Both Rose and Finn grew at characters from that part alone.
>her words to Finn before she kisses him completely contradict the sacrifices of everyone else in the movie
It doesn't contradict anything. Finn was literally on a suicide mission that wouldn't have worked at all.

I think the ST was a mistake and all but at least pay attention before criticising. Maybe Marvel and Transformers flicks would be more your speed.

>the wider star wars fandom
>thinks RLMfags hold the majority opinion on Star Wars when their territory has been relegated almost entirely to disparate corners of the internet and are disappearing faster than ISIS
In 2030, people will forget RLM ever existed
In 2030, people will still be watching everything Star Wars

So...basically a typical /s4s/ troll edit, turned into a memer fetish factory?

Can't say I'm surprised, but I was hoping Japan would actually be involved in some way.

I think it's pointless to bring real life science into a fantasy franchise completely removed from our universe (and Star Wars is more fantasy than it is science-fiction). So yeah, if the storygroup wants it, humanoids in Star Wars could breed with Porgs.

I know it wasn't a literal mistake I meant that human/Twi'lek hybrids shouldn't exist period because it doesn't make sense. I know Star Wars is fantasy but come on can I have a little grounding in realism. I remember in the Making of AotC they were saying how they designed Kaminoans to be as realistic as possible for a species with those proportions.

E9 is going to be a make or break movie for not just the trilogy as a whole, but Rey's character. TLJ gave her some much needed depth, but so far, nothing has been done about her acting in anger and being tempted to the Dark Side. You think JJ will actually bother to address this, or will he go regress her back into a "flawless" Mary Sue?

>Other than Anakin going from "What have I done?" to "I will do whatever you ask" in a matter of seconds
Seconds? The dude was struggling with the dark side and being groomed by Palpatine for freaking years.

It's started with the Chuchi meme long before that senpai.

>grounded in realism
aside from the stupidity of this statement, you might want to brush up on the real world capabilities of genetic crossbreeds

They said the same about 8. I am not holding my breath in the least bit.

>human/Twi'lek hybrids shouldn't exist period because it doesn't make sense
Dude it's a movie about wizards in space using giant lazars to destroy planets. You're retarded.

I've been on /swco/ since 2013 and I don't remember seeing Chuchi involved with it til 2016 at the earliest

>Implying no one in the OT didn't act childish.

You underage & old faggots are as delusional as a B1 droid thinking it can kill Sidious.

Kek.

You are right they can but the question that needs to be asked is if they should.
Fuck off by your metric Star Wars should have people flying in space with open cockpits and no helmet.

I won't lie, but that's kind of my fear about the character and the ST's legacy in a nutshell.

So far, the OT is the classic trilogy, while the PT is the ambitious but controversial trilogy, with both being remembered for different reasons. The ST, on the other hand veers between laziness and ambitiousness, but is simply incoherently inconsistent. Will it and Rey wind up becoming the most forgettable trilogy and least memorable protagonist, respectively, at this rate?

When will you woman-hating-Nazi-Russian-hackers give up? It was a good successful movie and this is what you should get used to seeing everywhere you look.

I meant how he went from feeling bad about helping Palpatine kill Mace to willingly killing all the other Jedi so suddenly. I wish he's shown a bit more hesitance before agreeing to join the Sith, but it's not that big of a deal to me.

>have a little grounding in realism

You are talking about a franchise with ghosts and people shooting lightning out of their hands. That's alright but the idea of interbreeding between humanoid species is too much?

To add to your point, Anakin was completely out of it in the second half of the movie and wasn't thinking straight at all. Palpatine is devious little bastard who choose the prefect time to reveal himself to Anakin.

>Fuck off by your metric Star Wars should have people flying in space with open cockpits and no helmet.
You're complaining about realism in a movie series for children. Calm your autism

Wow that strawman escalated quickly, you wanna explain what's so crazy about a human and an orc making a half orc or a human and a twilek making a half lek when we have ligers, zonkeys, coywolfs, and labradoodles in the real world?

JJ is much too lazy intellectually to do anything, but by the numbers, OT with the names filed off ala TFA. His visuals are the number one thing he cares about. Story is his main weakness, which is why he often works with horrible writers like Orc-Man on Trek.

All those animals you mentioned and even half orcs for that matter doesn't compare with humans mating with something that has part of their brain in head tails.

>Grint & Aresko
Literally the best characters brought by Rebels. This general was never better than when we had them.

The Dark Side of the Force is like Sauron's Ring
Like how Boromir practically went to killing Frodo just from looking at it

PT isn't that controversial, it wasn't when it came out and it isn't now. There will be generations of children who watch these movies for the first time and love them, and generations of adults who remember them fondly and cosplay as the characters. I don't know that the ST will be so lucky to be remembered at all. I see a few kids around enjoying the new characters, but I feel like they're not as excited about them specifically so much as their relation to the classic OT cast.

They need something to feed the remaining Resistance while they're stuck on the Falcon.

It's a humanoid creature, lighten up. Your autism is keeping you from enjoying a series children like.
It makes sense that a human and a human with head pigtails could make kids. It's not like it's a human and a fucking hutt

>Fuck off by your metric Star Wars should have people flying in space with open cockpits and no helmet.

We only don't have that because the first movies established that space in the Star Wars Universe works kinda like real life space. If Lucas would have written it different, it'd have been different.

So that's the thing, if whoever creates new Star Wars lore says something is canon, that automatically means it's realistic in the Star Wars Universe, except when it goes against pre-established lore. We didn't have any mention of the possibility of interbreeding in Star Wars canon before, that means Filoni saying it can happen makes it canon and therfore realistic.

>that has part of their brain in head tails.
That is of dubious canonicity, and ignores the fact that physiology is not synonymous with genetics. We live in a world where Australian aborigines can be turned white in 3 generations and Chihuahuas can mate with Great Danes, and you want to tell me that a couple of hairless monkeys can't propagate because one of them grew cocks on their scalp?

>Fuck off by your metric Star Wars should have people flying in space with open cockpits and no helmet.
Well, George Lucas always said he based his movies on Flash Gordon so...

I think it's due to the effect of submiting to the dark side and embracing the Sith teaching which affected his mind and made him not able to see things clearly. Like being high or drunk for example.

Also, the Jedi completely losing his trust with their hypocrite actions didn't help either.

I don't have autism and I love Star Wars and especially TCW. I would just rather have had the kids be pure Twi'leks. It's obvious they aren't the clones real kids since they are older than him.
Now that is a straw man. Despite what pol may want you to believe all humans are the exact same species.

>Despite what pol may want you to believe all humans are the exact same species.
That's not what he said you fucking retard. Dogs are all dogs, just with different dimorphisms. A chihuahua is still a dog, and is no different than a dane, except in how it has been selectively evolved over time to look different. Holy shit dude. How do you think we create something like a cockapoo?
Also, if you can define species, you are the smartest scientist on the planet, because there is no real definition.

>Despite what pol may want you to believe all humans are the exact same species.
Technically all humans are all various species of the genus Homo (the Hominins), starting with Homo habilis and ending with sapiens sapiens. Also I didn't mention anything about Abos and Whites being different species at all, I was referring purely to phenotypical expression. We know nothing of the genetic similarity between twi'leks and humans in this fictional scifi universe for 12 year olds.

No he wanted to make a Flash Gordon movie, but they wouldn't sell him the rights (plus he didn't want to do Ming the Merciless) so he made SW instead which uses elements from his beloved serials (such as the SW crawl), comic books and science fiction novels..

Saying that Flash Gordon=Star Wars is about as true as NuTrek=Star Wars just because Abrams desire to make a Star Wars film influenced how he produced the Kelvinverse movies.

It kind of too late for that unless they completely devoted the movie for her development.

So why are you using animal examples when Star Wars had already told us Twi'leks are aliens and not even near-human?
