What are some good SHAZAM! comics worth reading?

What are some good SHAZAM! comics worth reading?

Careful OP, you'll trigger the Billyfags like that

>shazam
>good reading
If you're 10+ you just can't like him.

This and Thunderworld

Superman/Shazam First Thunder
Shazam! The Monster Society of Evil

Miracleman

Power of Shazam by Ordway

The golden age ones.

I'm gonna second this

This

>recommending edgy trash that shit all over the original concept

Trying to prepare yourself for the next epic movie, huh Sup Forums?

Shitting all over the original concept is fine if the original concept is garbage.

I enjoyed Monster Society of Evil

I wish Thunder was a permanent member of the Legion of Superheroes in more of their interpretations, I love the idea of Billy having legacy in future DC while he himself takes fully on the role of the wizard.

You shut your whore mouth

Superior by Millar

-Power of Shazam- Intro novel to the character and decently long series
-Shazam: The Monster Society of Evil- Somewhat self-contained story to update characters in modern day
-Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam-Comfy more kid centered series- takes influence from above
-Superman/Shazam First Thunder- Captain Marvel meets Superman mini- self contained

Everything Ordway did as well as Convergence: Shazam.

>Shazam! The Monster Society of Evil
>Superman/Shazam First Thunder

Both excellent suggestions.

Also Thunderworld (part of Multiversity but can easily be read by itself) and the Convergence - Shazam two parter (again, part of Convergence, but can easily be read by itself).

It's really sad that we can't get Parker/Shaner on a Captain Marvel book because Shaner's too slow and nobody seems to want to trust Parker with anything other than D-list stuff.
