Why is he still alive. Murderbat would have gone after Joker first.

They're lovers

It wasn't.
The portrayal of the joker in this was terrible all around

I hated the fact they cast this fucker. Leto destroyed everything previous actors of the Joker created. The edgy post-2015 drug rapper tattoos, all the way to the hype that he method acted the character to the point where he "went crazy" made me fucking mad.

He was good in BR2049 though, despite being in the movie for fuck all time.

But fuck him for ruining the Joker.

pretty sure 90% of all the things you dislike about this joker were decisions made by someone else

Have you considered that you might be gay, OP?

Everything with joker was good. Leto is a madman irl which makes him the perfect guy to play the Joker

It does not come off as the Joker at all and is pretty gay. Leto really missed the mark and looked retarded.

In appearance, but Leto is famous for being super serious about his method acting. Thought it was going to be a big deal with him cutting all his hair just for the role, since he'd have to top Ledger. But his messy behavior with how poor the character ended up being made him look pretty bad.

Wait what movie did you watch? Leto does not come off as a madman at all. He's the fucking lead singer in 5 Seconds to Mars for god's sake. Have not seen him do any role similar to this take that would make me think he would've been a good casting choice.

What implies that?

Pretty sure the joker has always been some sort of high power gangster, not just a loon. They modernized him for the film. Also, not his decision.

It wasn't though. There weren't really any interesting scenes in the movie. There were one or two interesting visual effects with how magic was portrayed, but even those weren't enough to make entire scenes interesting. For a movie about the villains playing the role of heroes, the plot was shockingly generic.

I think that one of the real flaws here is that our standards for 'ridiculous ostentation' have shifted dramatically over the years.

The Joker has always worn expensive clothes, expensive canes, real silk pocket squares, whatever, but it was always, always, ALWAYS utterly tacky. A bright purple pinstripe suit with an orange vest and green tie? What the actual fuck. Have you SEEN suits from the period? It's brown and white all the way down, with the occasional blue blazer and maybe some forest green somewhere if you're particularly foppish. The Joker's look was always trashy and crass, it just takes a lot more over-the-top idiocy to look like you're trying as hard as the original Joker design was at the time.

>interesting
if making me laugh makes it interesting, then yes.

He was awful in Blade Runner too.

>interesting
>that gay porn tension

That was almost as gay is Lex slipping that jolly rancher in that senator's mouth and licking his thumb.

If Batman murders mooks left and right, he would most certanly found a way to kill a crazy fucker who terrorizes the city all the time.

Joker gives the best neck massages.

He's doing that same shit people in middle school/high school do where you be sarcastically gay with each other.

He also routinely just brutalizes them, and by the time of Suicide Squad he's over the angry times and trying not to do that kind of shit anymore.
Not to mention he only goes out of his way to try and murder Superman because "Muh unstoppable Global threat" everyone else was just in front of his rampage.
So all Joker has to do is not jump underneath the wheels of the Batmobile and the worst he would've expected is another Batthemed Bodymod.

>>He was good in BR2049 though
Nah, he was the worst part of BR2049 by far. He does the same method acting shit again, even though no one asked him to. He wore contact lenses to blind himself on set, even though his character could probably see fine through his camera drones. He does a really hammy portrayal of a "crazy person" that doesn't fit with the tone of the movie and his character is still the least interesting.

Say, is that the guy from MADtv?

>do where you be sarcastically gay with each other.
that's a thing?

Yeah, like gay chicken.

You think he wouldn't go after Joker after Robin died? If he lost enough fucks to fine with random mooks dying, he's lost enough to track Joker down and drop him off a ledge.

If iirc, the story was Batman gave Joker his grill.

Why are all of Joker's henchmen black?

I don't think this ever actually got into a movie, but from interviews and design notes you can surmise that after Joker killed Robin, Batman tracked him down and beat the ever loving shit out of him, but he managed to escape with his life.

And Batman never tried finding him again?

This Joker was trash. Whoever liked him has garbage taste.

I feel like no one was on Batman's side during BvS, not even Alfred. Only person supporting Batman was Lexenberg, and that was because daddy touched him in a strange way

Well not so much on his side as literally manipulating him so he felt the way he did in the first place.

why would he?

It sounds like you're just afraid of him.
Too crazy for you?
