It’s not so much that people who frequent these threads are fantastic writers, it’s more that the writers are shit at building up anything. There was no build up to buff frog leaving and when buff frog finally did get an episode, it was still more focused on Tom and stars relationship which is bs. The shipping was good in moderation, now that it’s pretty much at the forefront I’m sick of it, aswell as the break neck speeds at which the plot is progressing

I suppose stuff like his is their attempt to get the audience to buy into their relationship as something that might not just be a temporary roadblock to Starco. But seeing as they immediately follow it up with yet another example of how Star is clearly still much closer to Marco than to Tom, why even bother?

In reality that young artist had been heavily inspired by them...and was utterly crushed when someone sent them the discord messages of their hero reaming them up and down.

Some other fanartist who was inspired by her did their own AU in a similar art style, except it was Tomstar. Which is pretty much gravityfying's least favorite ship. Apparently gravityfying and some other fans hated it and called it a ripoff in a private discord, saying stuff like this other girl's adult Tom was just gravity's adult Marco with horns added. And frankly gravity had a point about that. But the conversation got leaked and the other girl got really upset about how her hero hates her art.

Nah, there shouldn't be a kiss photographed by the booth for Tom to see. That wouldn't take any effort from the writers.
What should happen is that Star's sad about not being a Butterfly princess, and the booth frequently takes pics while Marco & Star can't hear anything outside but Tom can hear inside.
Marco should be sickeningly sweet and so obviously better for Star that it just breaks Tom emotionally without him even getting cucked, marking the midpoint of a sad Tom arc.

The thing is, the unicorn she created grew rapidly without any proper training. In Storm the Castle, despite it being a funny scene, the unicorn that runs the mill in the bell stated his mother trained him for when it was his turn to power the wand.
Since the new unicorn Star created doesn't just run the wand, but is literally the source of all magic and the spellbook, with all of its key informatio, is burned, Glossaryck is now retarded since he has nothing solid to latch on to.

Seriously the only ones who care about Tomstar pretty much are a few girls on tumblr who like it because "Tom is hot!" and self-insert as Star, and the Starco haters who only "care" because they see it as a mechanism to keep Star away from Marco and will immediately move on to something else once it runs its course.
The biggest obstacle to making anybody else care isn't even that most of the audience wants Starco and sees Tomstar as just an obnoxious delay, though most fans do see it that way. It's that TOM IS FUCKING BORING WHEN HE'S WITH STAR. The only good Tom scenes are the ones without Star in them. And this season Star's been in every Tom scene.
