Voices you hear when reading comics.
I'm sure pic related not being Sting (or being literally John Constantine himself) gives Alan Moore an acute aneurysm on a daily basis.

Roscoe Lee Browne is always the Kingpin.
Ron Perlman
I would start listening off roles like Hellboy, Slade, ect, but really it's him once he voices a character that's enough for my to cement the voice in my head. He's so committed to the role that I can believe that blank character exist and that is their genuine motives.
Peter Cullen = Swamp Thing
Orson Welles = Niles Caulder
John Dimaggio = the Goon
Mark Hamill = Dream
Just off the top of my head for ones I've had for a long time
He's not a fucking Scouser so no it does not work
>Ron Perlman
Perfect amount of calm and dread for Deathstroke
John Dimaggio as Beartato
Michael Ironside as Darkseid.
I'm pretty sure Alan doesn't give a shit. I don't know where Sup Forums got this idea that Moore gets super fucking angry at any and all adaptations of his work just because he disliked a couple of shitty movies.
As much as I like the Netflix show, he will always be Punisher when I read the comics.
It is impossible to unhear Paul Williams whenever I read Penguin
I hear Beartato as Belly Bag from Uncle Grandpa, Reginald is J.G. Quintel (Mordecai), and Harisson sounds like Bob from Bob’s Burgers.
Here here
He's the best for classy Cobblepot but for the versions with rougher personalities and more WAUK-ing I usually like reading it in the voices of Burgess Meredith or Danny DeVito
Jeffrey Combs as Moon Knight.
His voice goes well with a lot of characters.
Darran is my go to Venom voice
My African brother
Kevin Michael Richardson as Black Mask
Dameon Clarke
I actually hear Moore himself as Swamp Thing.
Tony Jay as Vandal Savage
This. Don't know why, I've never played the game before, but Darran's Venom is the closest to the voice I have when reading.
Hynden Walch whenever I read something on here about Starfire
Tom Kenny is my headcanon voice for Plastic Man
For a lot of Marvel I read the characters in their Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes/UMvC3 voices.
DC is mostly the DCAU, Teen Titans, and Young Justice voices.
If you hear Matt Ryan when you read Constantine, then you've been reading his name wrong.
I don't have voices that are specific, they're more like culminations of voice actors that make an original voice. Rarely is there a character that I read resembling there voice actor 100% in my mind.
That being said, I always hear this weird combined voice of Leonard Nimoy and Carl Lumbly, speaking in this soft, sad, hum of a voice that makes you feel empathy and closeness to it.
We're not even bothering with Conroy, hm?
Personally, I hear Batman as Bruce Greenwood. Particularly older, more paternal Batman.
I still read Golden/Silver Age Bats in Adam West's voice
I prefer Michael Emerson's Joker to Mark Hamill.
People getting mad over TINE is like people getting mad over Billy's superhero being called Shazam.
its silly
Weird Al
Thomas Jane is definitive voice for Frank.

Nah, C. Thomas Howell has the perfect voice for Thawne.
When it comes to Deadshot:
Christian Slater whenever Ostrander writes him.
Jeffery Dean Morgan whenever Simone writes him.
As much as we finally got a voice for him in the latest Ninja Turtles series, I have developed a bad habit that I can't seem to shake.
Hearing Jei from Usagi Yojimbo in the voice of Christopher Lambert. The moment I lay eyes on that weird text of his, my mind went to Chris voicing Raiden with that supernatural echo to it.
I can't not hear Jason Statham as Constantine, specifically him as Turkish in Snatch.
He's got the right level of edge and gravitas
I can't not hear Reginald with Mordecai's voice
i love funhaus
Which mark hamil voice...the man is dynamic
As much as I love the Superman Animated series and Justice League. This man has been and always will be the voice I hear when I read Superman in comics.
