Mr Fox had a pretty unique way of recording dialogue compared to other animated movies, actually having the actors at appropriate locations to voice the lines. Really smart way of getting camera actors into character.
I'm not sure if they said they're using it for Isle Of Dogs, but that behind the actors vid they did recently makes it sound like the case.
