vegeta would be less interesting if he was totally okay with teaming up with goku from the get go. him turning back into a villain during the buu saga comes from alot of inner conflict, and eventually coming to terms with those conflicts because of a bigger problem he caused in order to get back at goku. the group will fight over ship wars, and come together when bigger problems arise. thats why i dont mind the shipping, its part of each character and their story towards teaming up against the big bad.
