The thing with this card, i cant quite seem to overclock this card at all? Ive tried to use, nTune, it didnt even allow me to overclock (let me set the sliders to factory mHz and not a mHz more), msi afterburner which just didnt straight up do shit... And the Zotac utility they made, "firestorm", which isnt doing shit either....
Basically, it just DOESNT go a mHz over 1033mHz on GPU core clock, and doesnt go over 1500mHz for memory clock, which kind of bothers me, should the memory clock be 5000mHz? Feel free to elighten me, i would love to know....
You can see in the img below that it actually doesnt go over said numbers (It reached max 1500mHz while trying to run Dark Souls 3), and it completely ignores any attempt at overclocking. imgur.com/a/9fQkP
If you didn't buy a card that says you can OC it, you can't OC it, dumbass. Try a BIOS editor if you want to brick and/or fry it.

I know this is pretty weak bait, but what market are GTX xxx50 cards marketed towards?
Intel'd dedicated graphics are most likely comparable and possibly even better than budget cards such as this, so why bother?

Well, i was overclocking my old 9800GT ive had before this one to 600mHz core and 900mHz memory...There were no issues at all....
The thing that bothers me more though, shouldnt the memory clock actually reach 5000? Enlighten me about this topic, i have no clue...

>Zotac >750 non-ti Ya dun goof'd
Bentley Wright
You can overclock any Nvidia or AMD card, you tech-illiterate retard.
Isaac Brooks
The regular 750 can't be overclocked. The 750ti on the other hand, can. If you just bought the card, check if you can still return it for a refund, then buy a 750ti.
And where the fuck do you get the idea from that the memory clock should running at 5 fucking Ghz? Memory clock speeds don't go anywhere near that high, 1500Mhz seems pretty normal to me.
Ethan Hernandez
They are comparable but the xx50 cards still out perform integrated graphics by a good enough margin that they're worth buying.
William Ross
Why the hell would you buy a 750 in (((current year)))? Like hell you can get gpus with double performance for nearly the same price
Ryder Bell
different user here, muh 40watt gimmick. I do want to know what other cards are out there that can do decent performance with minimal power usage. In other words, without need for a 6pin.
Ryder Richardson
I can indeed refund it.... would this be good enough?
I also made a mistake earlier, the GDDR5 ram on this thing can do 5400Mhz. Note however that these cards will automatically downclock both the processor and ram clockspeeds when it is idling. I guess your 750 does the same thing.
..... Im liking the first one more, what do you peeps think?

I can't say I've had pleasant experiences with MSI products, but I leave it up to you. The EVGA one is the one with higher clockspeeds out of the box though. Note that these are the 750ti variants that do require additional power from a 6pin connector. The SuperClock version I was talking about is this one: evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-3753-KR It has somewhat slower performance than the double-fan SC+ version, but does not need power from a 6pin connector.

>gtx 750 Its fucking 2016, if you payed more than $20 for thar, you got ripped off hard
Matthew Martinez
Well, i do have the 6pin connector...
Camden Thompson
>750 What are you poor?
Isaiah Gonzalez
Yeah duh I live with my parents and have no job
Zachary Hernandez
yes it does, here's my overclock
Caleb Peterson
I actually live with my girlfriend and i am actually working, so fuck off matey How did you made it to work? When ive tried to use msi afterburner it didnt do shit
Juan Ortiz
When i use msi afterburner, its still stuck at 1033mHz, it doesnt over it
